If this truly is the worst on the album... then this album is gonna be OUTSTANDING. OMFG.

 

EDIT: Definitely get the mid 00's-Britney comparison! Not sure Kill The Lights is the one it reminds me of but I see where you're going with that! Would definitely fit on 'Blackout' though or 'Circus' in the sense that they were trying to get as close to the 'Blackout' sound as possible (if that makes sense!)

 

EDITEDIT: I actually get Britney meets Beyoncé vibes from this and I think it's something like 'Naughty Girl' by Bey if it had been produced for Britney on 'Blackout'? Or even just something on RENAISSANCE ACT I from Bey.

Yeahhh it's more and more like 'PURE/HONEY' from Bey than anything else, to me... (which is perfectly fine for me as that is an absolute highlight from Bey on 'RENAISSANCE'!) definitely get the Britney vibes still too though. Just another homage to 00's pop QUEENS! *.* JADE REALLY KNOWS HER MILLENNIAL AUDIENCE :cheeseblock:

 

It's completely its own thing though. Just like AOMD is its own thing, despite taking clear inspiration from various other musical moments. What a SLAY!

I’ll be honest first listen I’m not immediately sold there’s parts I love but some parts I don’t.

 

The chorus though is 10/10

 

I’m really hoping it grows with more listens, I think I need to get the whole big single release out of my head and try not to compare to AOMD which is by far song of the year.

 

 

 

It doesn't touch AOMD for me, either. I completely understand why this isn't a single, but also, I do think there will be a fair amount of people who will prefer this over AOMD, so I think using it as a promo single is a good choice.

 

If this really is the weakest on the album, then the album is going to be GREAT!

100% It’s definitely making me more excited for the album if it was a song on the album I’d still rate it a solid 9/10.

 

I just hope she spoils us with the album art, vinyl colours and signed stuff! I genuinely think she has the fanbase to buy into her completely!

Admittedly I’ve only heard the preview but it doesn’t sounds as strong as Angel Of My Dreams, which to be fair I was expecting as this is a buzz single.

 

It still sounds good though and has me hyped for the album.

Correct, out now in Australia.

In fact it’s already at #99 on iTunes in Australia.

It’s really really Beyonce inspired, which is something that doesn’t excites me (sorry, I’ve never liked Beyoncé). However, the artistry in her is inmense and I can’t wait for next single and the album, because the song is super interesting for being an album track. I can imagine the second single being massive.
