Do you know any titles that fit this genre? Modern titles?

'California Dreamin' by the Mamas & The Papas springs to mind when I think of sunshine pop. Not sure about modern titles though. Maybe something like 'Love Me Like You' by Little Mix would be the modern equivalent of sunshine pop?

Would something like 'Sunny Afternoon' qualify, or am I really wide of the mark?

The Lemon Twigs would definitely fit the bill for a more modern example of this.

 

I’d say “Espresso” is the 2020s equivalent.
