Posted September 20, 2024Sep 20 Ella has been teasing a new release on socials and in a video released earlier this week she takes a retrospective look back at her career and also explains why she's been doing so much dance music. Now she's starting a new era and what seems to be a return to more pop-leaning music starting with 'Filthy Rich'. September 20, 2024Sep 20 It almost sounds like she's chasing trends with that sound but it suits her and I'm liking it from that clip. Really hoping it does well for her.
September 20, 2024Sep 20 I’m liking what we’ve heard. I get the feeling we’re getting an EP though and not an album.
September 21, 2024Sep 21 I've always liked Ella Henderson and love most of her dance collabs, but I agree she appears to be chasing trends here. It sounds quite country music inspired, but whether that will feel authentic from Ella is another matter. Having said that, it sounds ok from the clip
September 21, 2024Sep 21 I think Ella is just going with the flow to try and stay in the game which so far has worked well for her but it leaves it hard to know what to expect from a new album.
September 25, 2024Sep 25 Not that far away which is great. The next few weeks are picking up in terms of releases. Well for me anyway.
September 27, 2024Sep 27 Ella back on her own this time. She’s had a fair few collaborations. It’s nice to have a solo track again.
October 4, 2024Oct 4 I'm loving this! It's so nice to have a solo Ella Track! Really hope this somehow does ok eventually in the chart even top 40 for a couple of weeks! She deserves to have some solo success.
October 4, 2024Oct 4 I think it's v v boring unfortunately, so middle of the road ugh Agree completely, nothing made me want more
October 4, 2024Oct 4 It’s great to have solo Ella Henderson back, though it’s not my favourite thing from her this year. Hopefully it’s a grower.
October 4, 2024Oct 4 It's quite catchy, but why not just produce it as a pop or dance song? There's something funny to me about UK artists like Ella and Craig David jumping on the country bandwagon for no real reason except $$$ and trying to chase trends...but the trend has basically already passed so it's a bit late so it just ends up sounding naff.
October 4, 2024Oct 4 I actually like this on first listen. The only bit that's a tad annoying is the way she goes high at the end of "Rich" and "B!tch", but that's a really small criticism. I doubt it will do much though as her solo singles rarely seem to make waves.
October 4, 2024Oct 4 Author We love a video landing same day as the release. It is catchy (bar the jarring broke ass bitch line) Cbf45nPjWu4
October 5, 2024Oct 5 Pleasant enough song and might be a grower. The sentiment grates a bit with her Instagram where she showed photos of a huge Rolex she bought her fiance for his birthday, a while back admittedly ...
