She'll discuss the album with Zane Lowe tomorrow.

I also love her interviews with Zane!

This will be quite an interesting interview actually with how she is in life right now. Her previous releases within the interviews she wasn’t in as great a place as she is in now so hearing how she is now and how her life / the movie influenced the album release. I will be watching!

This is very interesting album - it's part jazz part classic vintage pop. It's an obvious side project but very welcome one! Happy Mistake is the obvious standout - truly a moment!!

My faves after the first listen:

Happy Mistake

Folie a Deux

The Joker

If My Friends Could See Me Now

Smile (this is party traditional, partly "horror" version - the end is disturbing)

I thought I like Close to You more, but it's not very good version...

The Joker is really good, just downloaded the album and having a listen through now.

The Joker and Oh When The Saints ste my personal highlights. I wish she had gone full originals in the vein of Harlequin. It's definitely not Jazz, it's more musical so unsure where them comparisons are coming from. It'd not bad and have added them two songs to my playlist, as a whole it's quite a nice listen. Smile and Close To You are not so good tho. It's very camp and as a whole and has Gaga written over it.

Problem I have with Happy Mistakes is thst I cannont understand hardly anything she is saying

The vocals! This is so clever - classic songs but with an unhinged twist at times. She sounds GORGEOUS and then manic at the same time - it's a lot to keep up with. Definitely see why she's described this as a part-Gaga, part-Harley project.

Great to have Smile too - she did this at her Covid charity event and I'm glad we have a proper version on an album now. And then the shift to French speaking, I gasped.

The Joker :cheeseblock: immense! HER RASPY ROCK VOCALS I CANT BREATG

Happy Mistakes     this is the ONE </3

Not a jazz album - it's a fusion of several genres (jazz being one of them). I assume the internet will simply say it's a jazz album without listening fully to it though lol.
