Posted September 24, 2024Sep 24 Finland 2025 Erika Vikman ICH KOMME XAi8gcNvrhg Last year a forumer in ESCUnited forum got the lineup entirely correct. They now expect the following: @1838629166154965232 (I hear some sources say Isaac Sene is in instead of ABREU so we'll see what happens x)
September 25, 2024Sep 25 After 2023 gave us Benjamin and Robin, Isaac Elliot is all I need to complete my wishlist, so can this rumour please come through :cheeseblock:
September 25, 2024Sep 25 On name alone I would definitely back (Anna) Abreu, she deserves her moment on the global stage. But let’s see what the songs are like!
January 8Jan 8 The list of participants is out Neea River: Nightmares Nelli Matula: Hitaammin hautaan Costee: Sekaisin Viivi: Aina One Morning Left: Puppy Goldielocks: Made of Erika Vikman: Ich komme
January 8Jan 8 Costee: Sekaisin apparently known for making gaming music of some description? looks laddish One Morning Left: Puppy metalcore band with inexplicable japanese fanbase my beloved Erika Vikman: Ich komme all things I'm hearing about this sound like it's a moment
January 8Jan 8 Author ntm on the lineup after seeing many supposed pop rejects i was expecting some cvnty stuff but VIIVI piqued my interest
January 11Jan 11 Author My ratings so far: Nightmares (6/10) Hitaammin hautaan (6/10) a rather lacklustre start for finland so far :(
January 15Jan 15 A8jnHa-GjN0 this may surprise people but I... do not like this. Always been against countries typecasting themselves too hard and while fun and rock, what Finland has been doing lately is very easy to typecast, and also this song in particular is just a pretty bad representation of Euro-metalcore. team VIIVI so far, but really Erika waiting room to see if she can beat 'Puppy' tX04m1FyW4o
January 16Jan 16 Mid selection, Ich Komme is definitely the best one, really like it on first listen. It feels a bit Kaarija, with the chants and techno influences, in a good way. Easily the best pick they could go for, I think it has a lot of potential.
January 16Jan 16 Erika is definitely my favourite, obsessed and had it on repeat, I love the way it speeds up at the end and finishes so abruptly, and the chant chorus is a massive earworm. I like VIIVI though, I'd much rather that than Puppy, which is awful for me. Forced fun, feels very contrived.
January 17Jan 17 'Ich Komme' is great. Either that or 'Aina' would be a great rep. Feels weird not advocating for Finland to send rock for once but their style of music is so unique that it's good to see all genres taking a turn.
