i think people will probably think I'm crazy but the production and instrumental actually reminds me of a more pop-forward version of the 1975's second album. very disco but feels a bit fresher than some of the other disco-inspired tracks we've gotten over the last few years!

Following AOMD was always going to be SO hard and I do think this one could go either way chart wise.

 

Some of the lyrics in the verses are hard to understand (maybe just me?!)

 

For me it’s definitely nowhere near AOMD but it’s a solid second single and I can see it really growing!

 

She is VERY quiet considering the release is this Friday! I would have thought we would be getting more interaction and teases (Im guessing the video isn’t ready which I think could really affect it’s first week position)

I’m sorry to say… but after Angel of My Dreams I’m going to have admit I’m kind of disappointed by this.

 

It’s very Jessie Ware but the chorus isn’t super strong. I can’t be the only one hoping for a bigger chorus after the part that was already teased?

 

It’s a good album track but I wouldn’t have picked as the second single personally. I hope the video sells the f*** out of it and helps give it more stability, but my gut says this won’t do anything like the success of Angel.

It’s just a shame it seems like the video won’t be ready in time. Not only did the Angel music video have a great debut numbers wise but it also had a great reception on social media and really helped share the song i think so i would’ve thought it’d be a no brainier to have the video ready to go to try and get a similar reaction

 

Very excited to see how this sounds when she performs it, i just know she will SELL it :cheeseblock:
