Posted October 8, 2024Oct 8 Hello, If you were an artist, what would your release strategy be? Would you prefer to drop a single every three months, an EP, or perhaps some remixes? How often would you release new music each year? What would you do to make your digital releases stand out? Would you go for consistent cover art or opt for very different visuals? Would you consider offering acoustic or instrumental versions of your tracks?
October 10, 2024Oct 10 I would do lead single then second single closely followed by the album then 2 more singles the last one with a remix that'll get tapped on to the end of the deluxe edition. 3 year gaps between albums. Short one-word album titles and simplistic artwork designs.
October 10, 2024Oct 10 I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all answer to this. It very much depends on the type of artist and what they're trying to achieve.

October 10, 2024Oct 10 Aim for an album consistently in Q4, every two years. A few singles throughout the year in the build-up, as many TV appearances/performances as I can get.
