I believe the boys were exhausted from touring when they filmed this vid also it was v cold .
The video to this really sticks in my mind. I like the simplicity of it, it matches the mood of the song well. I do really like the song as well.

One of their most underrated singles - a fluke peak of #19 caused by an iTunes error in the album release week, but came close again when pushed as a single (#22 would be its "proper" peak). A relatively short chart run for them still but better than Midnight Memories managed, and it trickle-sells really well, it's certified platinum!

I'm going through the chart runs during this listen through and I could recall something being up with that #19 peak!

Steal my Girl

Steal My Girl would probably be the song I'd say is most overrated amongst their singles, but I do still love it. It's my least fave of their lead singles, but another of their best videos I think.

You & I is stunning  It deserved more than #22 during its time as a single (lol at the accidental scamming to get a #19 peak, but I'm glad it has Top 20 status anyway  ). Interestingly You & I has gone on to have more streams on Spotify than the album's lead single Best Song Ever.

Steal My Girl  Another anthem! I think by this point they had a very clear sense of what their sound was.

Missed the first one (but ill go back)

Gotta Be You: I like but don't go back to as much

One Thing: A pretty bop! Fun

More Than This: This is a lot more enjoyable than I remembered

Live While You're Young: A nice fun track which deserved better chart wise!

Little Things: Its good but I feel Story Of My life the following year did better at the type of song?

Kiss You: I always enjoy this one its very catchy!

This is a really lovely song, it was at the time and its use on TikTok etc. has really solidified that. It's their top song on Spotify!

Sounding particularly emotional today.

Forever their last single as a 5 piece and that makes it even sadder , its a beautiful song

I think it took a play or two for me to appreciate the subtlety of this song but after that, I was truly sold and this solidified itself as one of their best for me (and best ballad too). Harry's voice on the chorus is like silk, I love it so much  and this has really struck a chord with me over the past 24 hours - "does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes?" :(

FOUR was a barnstormer of a pop album, it deserved another couple of singles, Where Do Broken Hearts Go was the hit that never was!

Was I the only one who liked Midnight Memories? I think by the time the album dropped I was like "yeah this will be the next single" but like zero people were here for it apparently? Can't really go wrong with the album though, "Little Black Dress" in particular was THAT GIRL *.*

To me, Night Changes feels like a song that comes across like it was a #1 hit... so its #7 peak feels odd! It's a beautiful song. Interesting that it's gone on to be by far their most streamed song.

FOUR only having two singles was a bit criminal!!

MM definitely felt like a transition point from bright teen pop to the more stadium rock sounds of their later discography, and when I heard "Steal My Girl" for the first time I was pretty much convinced they would do stadium rock for the rest of their time as a group

PREACH :cheeseblock:
