January 20, 200719 yr What about Bis the first 'unsigned' (but they had records out on Chemikal Underground) band on Top of the Pops? What about Joy Division who released on Factory but never signed a contract? Ditto New Order, Happy Mondays etc. The Delgados is was The Delgados record company, so if they had got in the 40 before koopa would say they could take the title as koopa can be said to be the record company. then again if their late dad funded them then maybe the cheeky girld could be said to be an unsigned band as it was their mum who was xbn records. as people are still trying to get money off her for some video production.
