Well I don't think Vidbir could have gone much worse.

Easily Ukraine's weakest entry for a while - will be interesting to see if just "being Ukraine" is enough to get this higher than five other songs in Semi One.

(he says in full knowledge that someone might find that the drummer once bought a pink of milk in Russia and they're therefore disqualified or something)

I actually quite like this, it's got an interesting melody for me. Was expecting worse based on what I'd heard.

Just been reading that the lead singer was suffering with chronic laryngitis during the contest - kudos to him for still being able to perform well!

On another note - does anyone know if the misspelling of 'Bird of Prey' is deliberate or accidental?

Biggest grower of the season for me, probably because it's the closest Eurovision gets to prog, I was deriding it when it won here oops

Gist is that the lyrics are about connections between others and hoping for their good health, I'd picked enough up that they were mixing metaphors but not the entire context as of course half the song is in Ukrainian.

Loving tghis atm. Great performance, too! One of the best of the night.
