Great to see Remember Monday on the playlist, maybe an early Summertime Ball booking, although I know they've playlisted the Eurovision entry a few times in the last few years - a few weeks out to the contest though! Feels like a bit of a chaotic kind of song for Capital, I wonder if the audience will take to it.

I actually think WTHJH is a very good song I just don’t reckon the audience will like it very much.

I heard 'Juno' on Capital earlier and then only just realised it's on the playlist. I wonder if it's going to be an official single at some point? Seems a bit late in the campaign but I guess it wouldn't hurt.

2 really good adds to the playlist this week. Has anyone else noticed that Capital have been playing Mariah Carey quite a bit, at 3:36pm yesterday they played Fantasy, at 6:07pm they played Heartbreaker and her version on Big Energy by Latto is about to play?

Definitely not, but JLS probably are.

Honestly Mariah headlining the Summertime Ball wouldn't entirely surprise me - they had Alicia Keys for both nights of the Jingle Bell Ball in 2023 (and Take That also headlined) so if they give her the big pimp slot at the end I could imagine it! It is unlikely though I do concede, but it is strange that they're playing so many Mariah songs recently.

They do seem to go through phases of playing a certain artist a lot - they've done it with Avril, Sugababes etc. recently too.

Sugababes played the Summertime Ball last year! Not the case for Avril so I guess they've tested some throwback favourites on the audience, they often play Scandalous by Mis-Teeq for example
