May 27May 27 I am a casual F1 fan, so the points brought up by seasoned fans are apt for sure. I also am not saying overtaking should be easy, but at least have the ability to challenge for a spot in a corner. There is no corner at Monaco where you can even challenge the car in front you. That is not entertaining at all. I don't think it would ever be taken out because of the prestige of the event and for reference I hate that Miami is a similarly dull track that was only created to mirror the same prestige event of Monaco-American style. Even as an American I find that to be a joke. I think Austin and surprisingly Vegas should be the only U.S. venues, I was stunned at how well Vegas turned out to be.

And no way will they change the cars significantly just due to one track.Russell seemed exasperated.Max described it as a track you can’t race on that you can’t even overtake a formula 2 car onIf drivers are fed up and most fans find it boring why is it staying exactly?People say unique and what they mean is boring because the only unique thing about it is that it’s unraceable.Wherever you qualify in the top 7 that’s probably where you’ll finish. It’s one of those races that should have been binned years ago and we’ll be looking back on it now like remember Monaco? These cars would never get to overtake there with the size now…Lucky Monaco is gone. Yet instead we watch new rules put to try and spice things up and obviously you can’t do anything to spice it up since the root problems will always be there. I get super dedicated F1 heads have the nostalgia and don’t like letting go over classic tracks but it’s time. Not like it bothers me that much plenty of other races but I just don’t see the point in watching cars go round in circles in basically formation laps for two hours. I want to watch a race. I’m not saying overtaking should be easy but it should be possibleIt wouldn't be changing the cars just for one track. Hungary, Jeddha, Barcelona, Singapore, Miami, Suzuka, Imola all have problems delivering overtaking. You would improve the racing across the board. As for Monaco, most fans don't hate it though. This poll from last year illustrates that, where it received more votes than a number of supposedly better tracks - https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/vote-choose-your-favourite-f1-race-of-the-2024-season.2uDNoYf45F8umlgablaULv One of the problems the sport is trying to deal with is you have a lot of new viewers onboard (which is great) because of initiatives like DTS, (which is not so great), and there is a disparity to between what the two audiences appreciate in the sport. For many Monaco is a unique challenge and the number of overtakes doesn't determine the interest levels. For others, unless there is overtaking, it isn't worth watching, even though the majority of overtakes these days are DRS assisted and require very little skill.Among fans DRS has long been reviled - https://www.racefans.net/2021/04/03/10-years-of-drs-should-f1-wean-itself-off-push-button-passes/ Imola's track record for overtakes is only marginally better than Monaco's and it has been one of the most welcome returns to the calendar. Hungary is often just as processional. Fix the cars and you fix Monaco. And they're looking at that anyway - https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/f1-already-has-a-2026-monaco-passing-fix-it-could-deploy/It will always be the toughest for overtaking, of course, but that's not the challenge of the circuit and the tightness of the walls is why it still remains more popular among fans than nearly every other street circuit, that provides neither jeopardy, extreme precision or much overtaking.

I doubt anyone would want that dropped. Vegas I'm on the fence about. Hideously ugly location and a boring layout that has produced one entertaining race through extreme conditions and one so-so race last year.If there must be three US races I'd have COTA, and any two from, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Elkhart Lake or Indianapolis infield section in preference to what we have.
May 27May 27 I'd love to see Road America. It was always one of my favorites on Forza, which doesn't mean anything of course, but I've always felt like it was under-utilized great track. NASCAR went there one year and then left, which was so disappointing.
May 27May 27 Seeing F1 cars try to tackle the corkscrew chicane would literally melt my brain.I always had a soft spot for the Indianapolis track despite its numerous controversies.
May 31May 31 nah that second Red Bull seat is poison. people are still putting Checo on blast. Liam Lawson has yet to recover from his massive hate train despite doing well last week (hell he still has one of the biggest hate trains this season). now people are turning on Yuki. Isack is just a rookie, shifting him too soon will very likely ruin him, the kid needs to be left ALONE for at least another year
June 1Jun 1 Im more worried about Colapinto. I thought Doohan had started bad but this is even worse.Seems if he risks it he crashes, if he doesn't he's last...
June 1Jun 1 Author Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll missed the Spanish Grand Prix with injury, in the aftermath of losing his temper in the team's garage. The Canadian is said by sources to have damaged equipment in the garage and sworn at team members after being eliminated at the end of the second qualifying session, in which he was 0.535 seconds slower than team-mate Fernando Alonso.Asked to confirm Stroll had lost his temper in this way, an Aston Martin spokesperson said: "Lance was upset."The spokesperson said the injury and the episode in the garage were unrelated.
June 1Jun 1 Max throwing his title chances away with the biggest spat of road rage I've seen since Jerez 97, should have been a straight black flag for that.Hulkenberg dragging that tractor into P5 is probably one of the most impressive drives I've seen in years!
June 1Jun 1 Author Deliberately crashing into another car should be an automatic DSQ and a race ban in my opinion.
June 1Jun 1 Yes for my man Hulkenberg Stupid from Max, although the team should not have asked him to give the place back when George clearly pushed him off….
June 4Jun 4 The cynic in me is thinking they're using this situation to fast track Stroll out of F1 altogether.
June 4Jun 4 If only... the Spanish press mentions Vettel as possible replacement if Stroll doesn't recover in time ♦️hope it's made up stuff cos it makes no sense
