I guess I could substitute in those totals and start using those. The trouble is they’re already out of date and some of them will in fact be well on the way to the next certification, so it still wouldn’t be accurate.

I think the triple counting of Queen albums is definitely wrong and a head scratcher by the OCC. Seems designed to allow it to remain forever the biggest selling album. It's certainly the only thing

Robbie just sneaking in at #1 but may not even make the final Top 100

Entered the Top 100 this week:

Robbie Williams - Best Man OST

Bad Bunny - Debí Tirar Más Fotos

Bob Dylan - The Very Best Of

Robbie Williams - In And Out Of Consciousness

Drake - Take Care

Alex Warren - You’ll Be Alright Kid (Chapter 1)

Left this week:

Tyler, The Creator - Igor

Juice Wrld - Goodbye & Good Ridance

Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare

Travis Scott - Utopia

The Rolling StonesForty Licks

Post Malone - F-1 Trillion

At least as it's only early it will be a gradual drop for Robbie and not just plummet down

Julien, I think there's something wrong with these totals, way too low

This week’s all new weekly Top 3 entered the YTD Top 100, replacing “Future Nostalgia”, “=“ and “You’ll Be Alright Kid (Chapter 1)”.
Sabrina is averaging 10kish per week with a big UK tour + a delux version to come it is sure to get 500k+ by the end of the year
I also had Lover on 900K but it hasn't been certified yet so maybe we're overestimating?

I have 898k actually but I show the totals rounded to 10k.

Week 6:

I was expecting Robbie to drop to #6 but he’s only dropped to #4 which (unless I’ve made an error somewhere else) suggests there are some sales credited from before it charted…

Alex Warren’s “You’ll Be Alright Kid (Chapter 1)” is back, replacing “Hybrid Theory”.

Wasn't the Robbie soundtrack available to download prior to its physical release? That probably accounts for the unaccounted sales.
^that's what I was thinking too, it was released in December on itunes and streaming
  • Author
Yeah I did check the release date when I saw it had done some extra sales and I’m going to guess it did 2.5k before it charted. It wasn’t Top 200 before it entered at #1 though and it’s already out of the Top 200 this week, so I’m still a bit surprised.
I remember it went to #1 on itunes when released so could easily be 1000 sales a week before the physical release
Yeah it's a weird one because it apparently was number 1 on the soundtrack chart for a few weeks before it enter the artist chart

It has charted on the soundtrack charts since release week and still charting there now, #2 at the moment

it's a soundtrack after all.

it only hit #1 in the soundtrack charts when the physical got out not before:

4-7-8-1-1-2

this is the Albums download chart:

1-4-15-10-8-55

so must have had decent sales of at least 1K in week 1 and maybe week 2 too.

  • Author
I guess also possible it would have done enough to make the albums Top 200 in those first few weeks but was excluded and considered a soundtrack album only at that point. In which case the extra 2.5k could be understating. I’ll be able to tell more accurately from its YTD fall over the next few weeks.
