January 22Jan 22 Author I guess I could substitute in those totals and start using those. The trouble is they’re already out of date and some of them will in fact be well on the way to the next certification, so it still wouldn’t be accurate.

February 11Feb 11 Wasn't the Robbie soundtrack available to download prior to its physical release? That probably accounts for the unaccounted sales.
February 11Feb 11 ^that's what I was thinking too, it was released in December on itunes and streaming
February 11Feb 11 Author Yeah I did check the release date when I saw it had done some extra sales and I’m going to guess it did 2.5k before it charted. It wasn’t Top 200 before it entered at #1 though and it’s already out of the Top 200 this week, so I’m still a bit surprised.
February 11Feb 11 I remember it went to #1 on itunes when released so could easily be 1000 sales a week before the physical release
February 11Feb 11 Yeah it's a weird one because it apparently was number 1 on the soundtrack chart for a few weeks before it enter the artist chart
February 11Feb 11 It has charted on the soundtrack charts since release week and still charting there now, #2 at the moment it's a soundtrack after all. it only hit #1 in the soundtrack charts when the physical got out not before: 4-7-8-1-1-2 this is the Albums download chart: 1-4-15-10-8-55 so must have had decent sales of at least 1K in week 1 and maybe week 2 too.
February 11Feb 11 Author I guess also possible it would have done enough to make the albums Top 200 in those first few weeks but was excluded and considered a soundtrack album only at that point. In which case the extra 2.5k could be understating. I’ll be able to tell more accurately from its YTD fall over the next few weeks.
