Everything lined up for this to be a big solo hit for her, who could have thought? Still pissed about the Monday release.

 

Her team needs physicals ready to ship next week to get that #1.

Flop Disease would also have been a no 1 had it had physicals and video the same week. If that flop could have done it, then maybe this could too? But she needs physicals.

I do feel this is genuinely quite a refresh in the music industry atm. Like bad romance was, this isn't necessarily a massive step like bad romance was but I do feel this is going to be big and one of her most known songs. As a fan it just makes you irritated that she lost this in art pop and gave us a 2/10 album in chormatica. Wasted years!!!

I haven't'√ listened to Chromatics since release, and Artpop ... What a stinker!! She needed to release Joanne to salvage her career after that by stripping it all back. Artpop could have had s couple hits on it, Gypsy and DWUW with someone else and Artpop, and Chromatics could have opened with Alice for greater effect. This song is what was needed after Born This Way however.

So to show how strong the debut is... this has more streams on Day 2 than even Rain On Me managed! :mellow:

I was half wrong because no one saw her coming up with a video with such a high quality standard, even by her standards, turning even an average song into a good one but if Gaga is having success that's all that matters to me: SUCCESS aka sales, hits and awards because a legacy is made of that.
