How is Sultans of Swing #81 on audio streaming.

Incredible song but that doesn’t seem correct

Great to see Deacon Blue in the Top 3 albums and Alex Warrens Carry You Home finally going top 10 in the singles.

No16 is where I though The Horrors would land, good result imo! Good to see Deacon Blue top 3 again too.

Is 11 ACR songs top 40 standard or is that a lot?

10 of the acr songs in the top 40 have less weeks than beautiful things it needs to hurry back to acr already

UK TOP 100 SUMMARY AND REVIEW 28.03.25 #26

THE TOP TEN:

Alex Warren has his second UK top ten as 'Carry You Home' arrives at ten! Teddy Swims jumps back into the top ten with 'Bad Dreams' at 9. Lady Gaga has a big sales drop but still jumps up to 8, and Sabrina falls on sales to 7 with 'Busy Woman' at 6. Tate has a big sales climb with 'Sports Car', as Chappell has a large sales fall at 5 with 'The Giver'. Benson Boone Is standing near the same on sales as last week, as 'Beautiful Things' is up to 4? Doechii's 'Anxiety' is starting its downfall at 3, whilst Chappell's 'Pink Pony Club' is also getting weaker on sales at 2. But having nearly double the sales as the number two spot and having a gigantic lead is 'Ordinary' by Alex Warren at number one!

NEW ENTRIES:

100. Sunset Blvd – Selena Gomez/Benny Blanco (1.8/10)

Yeah… this album is lined up to be exactly the way 'The Secret Of Us' went. Selena sings in a whisper-like tone where she appears to eat Benny Blanco in the music video. The buildup to the chorus is unstable and comes out of nowhere while not even matching the buildup; it's horrible. This could be the worst album of 2025 already.

92. Back It Up – Josh Baker & Omar+ (4/10)

Has the UK charts really become this basic? Wow. This is a released dance-house song on the artist's own label, and it's the exact sound we've been hearing for years. These house songs are sounding so similar that I struggle to find out how people care. Maybe they put a club-type pumping bass in there or a funky groove, but it's not enough; it just all sounds the same.

86. How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten – Selena Gomez/Benny Blanco (3.7/10)

Oh great… another song from their album I have to listen to. May as well listen to the whole thing later then. This follows the same pattern as a lot of the things the duo has done; it's a slow-moving romantic song that actually doesn't sound designed for TikTok but still blandly ticks the boxes. There's no real attitude or feeling to this; it's motionless and lacks depth.

65. Undressed – Sombr (7/10)

Another good song from him! Not as good as 'Back To Friends', but still good, and he's still reminding me of Keshi. The song is an indie-pop song about deep connection, and Sombr was a great role for the vocalist; he connects you with the song well and makes the storyline easy to understand while still giving an entertaining and great production. He really went out with the sounds and made something real!

56. Mona Lisa – J-Hope (6.5/10)

I wish I could just enjoy BTS and their solo members music without having to be reminded how insane a lot of their fans are; if BTS started a cult, then it would probably be the biggest religion within a day. But I'm not here to go into a rant about that, as much as we could; we've got a song to talk about.' Mona Lisa's' strong points are its beat; it has a funky switch which separates it from BTS's other songs and makes J-Hope a standout. He does keep his lyricism the same, about how he likes his girls, and he also gives a similar vibe in his music video (by doing a group dance.) The song is a radio groovy song that's already losing the spotlight, but I still think it's fair; it's not a replay, but I wouldn't complain at all about hearing it again.

50. Just Us – Jack Harlow/Doja Cat (2.5/10)

Bro, Jack Harlow dropped one of the best albums I've ever heard in my life, and now he's back to doing the same songs that you might have heard from the 'Come Home the Kids Will Miss You' era. First of all, the lyrics in this song are worse than basic, and here are a few examples:

"Cause I'm tryna bust nuts in this b*tch."

"Slow it down like macaroni."

"Yeah, I'm that stupid, like, duh."

And then more lyrics which just have "Huh" as the cutoff point and just get cut off mid-vocals – especially for a chorus; this is really off-putting. Doja's vocals also usually follow a sharp, quick flow, but this doesn't have anything closely resembling that; it's like watered-down Doja. The production is really weak and feels like how most couple songs go; they tone it down on the production, and on this, it doesn't even feel like it was engineered to its best potential. The backing sounds like it's someone talking with a drum loop, and it doesn't work well with the vocals. Overall it's weak and a disappointment.

RE ENTRIES:

99. Yellow – Coldplay
[We need to find a way to get rid of the old songs coming back again and again.]

97. Seventeen Going Under – Sam Fender
[Exactly what I said for the Coldplay re-entry.]

Amazon, top 40 there all week

Gaga’s album is holding up well, I expected it to tumble after week 1.

That's why they added Die with a smile, that was its sole purpose
