Athletic missing the Williams brothers and another key player tonight. 3-0 at home surely can’t blow it under these circumstances?

Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

Put Bayinder between the sticks and we might not leak as many goals.

Amorim has turned Mount into a useful player and got Casemiro looking world class again. You have to give this man his props

Pretty sure Mount played that way at Chelsea, he’s a good player just made of glass and too injury prone unfort.

At least you’re being consistent and 17th in both tables.

16th actually. Tottenham seem determined to stay below us no matter what

Even if we win Europa, next season is gonna be even more painful crashing out in the CL group stage and then not having any route back into it. Amorim is not getting this team even top half.

If Man Utd can beat Bilbao 7-1 on AGG(4th in la liga) no reason to think they won’t do well in the champions league

Come off it, you played against 10 men for half of the tie and in the away leg they were missing their striker and Williams! United have done well in Europa, but they've been able to rest players for it. With the format of the CL there's a good chance of the play-offs for sure, but this United team is garbage. I can't see anything other than an average to poor showing.

If you look at any of the stats of the last 5 or more premier league games Man Utd have actually dominated just little mistakes led to goals and chances missed. Before they couldn’t even create a chance in 90 minutes. The team and system and chemistry is there now. It’s not nearly perfect but a few signings and pre season with this manager and it’ll be a very different team. Don’t forget Man Utd have tons of injuries too. On that point Yoro got injured today and may miss the final he’s really good. Ugarte looks another waste of money unfortunately

As I have been told many times before, the only stats that matter are the final scores D Maybe things are getting slightly better with the players having more time to adapt to the system, but I just can't see it myself. I can't see how anyone can look at Man Utd right now and think the stars are aligning. Lucky shot at the CL, but ultimately I just don't think the team is anywhere near good enough to compete and the same goes to Spurs too.

It’s like a house that’s been flooded. The water has now been removed and cleaned up. It’s liveable again. Now it just needs some new furniture and decoration. That’s the stage it’s at and I can see the progress for sure. If people just see highlights or results or get too fixated on the league position it looks abysmal but I remember under Ten Haag I had no belief or hope at all. Now I can see the workings of a very good team but it’ll mean nothing if they don’t beat Tottenham

Look at Amorim's comments in the media today, hardly paints a happy home picture. Almost sounds like he thinks getting the Champions League would be a bad thing. Or he's looking for a payout to leave,

West Ham scored from this. 50 million. The team he left is now in the champions league final thanks to their impressive midfield he no longer plays in. How do Man Utd manage it.

I do think United look sturdier under Rueben and can see them competing in the top 7/8 next year. The results since Xmas have been awful but I think he knows he’s there next season and playing all the tripe to show how much resources he needs in the summer.

How much of that did he pay in taxes??
