He should have seen this coming... what do you expect will happen when you fund a sinking ship and make awful recruitment decisions.

Don’t worry he’s claiming state help for the new stadium while basing himself in Monaco.

Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

Put Bayinder between the sticks and we might not leak as many goals.

0.92 - Ruben Amorim has won 24 points in 26 Premier League games, a points per game ratio of 0.92. This is lower than Paul Jewell's Premier League points per game (0.94), who managed 24 winless games at Derby when they finished on 11 points in 2007-08. Concerning.

There is zero way these or Spurs are going to do well in two major competitions at once whoever wins 😂

Away to Chelsea less than a week before a massive final I don’t know what anyone was expecting. As long as they beat Tottenham every game I suffered in the prem this year will be worth it

It’s the form though, I think that’s the issue. Dunno how the squad is going to be able to complete with 2 meaningful games a week next season without some serious investment. That current win rate is absolutely shocking. Even worse then the Hodgson days at Liverpool!

Just minor tweaks needed. If you look Man Utd have no striker at all really. Rashford out on loan. Zirkzee injured. And the 45 mill man from Atlanta record is this IMG_4270.jpeg

It’s a big problem when you have key positions with nothing. I’d rather hit rock bottom than flirt around 5-8 for years. This might be the kind of season Man Utd needed

You can also flip the shoe on the other foot and say Hojlund was actually showing signs od developing last year and now he's regressed under Amorim.

I think minor tweaks is a bit more than that myself. How many of the players you currently have starting for you get in to any of the top 4-5 clubs? You'd say 1 - 2 at absolute best.

Yeah it’s hard to say. Like we’ve said before Elanga was a Man Utd reject then doing great at Forest. Mctominay is player of the year at Napoli they’re about to win the title. Antony has been a world beater at Betis and now Atletico want him. Napoli and Atletico wanted to pay 40 mill for Garnacho. Bruno would get in most teams. Martinez probably a few Arsenal wanted to get him before Man Utd did. Rashford got in ahead of Watkins. Some good squad players there for sure who’ll look better next season

The issue is the environment and culture though. As I always say, how many players that have joined Man Utd have actually improved or fulfiled their potential over the last 12 years? That points to a deeper problem if all these players are flourishing outside of the club. It doesn't matter who you sign as inevtiably they get swallowed up by the culture/pressure etc.

Bruno would get in to a lot of teams, but I would expect that. Garnacho again was really good under Ten Haag but has turned in to a timid cat. Part of the current problem with Man Utd is Amorim's rigid system and the club still seemingly not having a clear football identify and structure & internal power struggles.

I think his system relies on a top class striker and Man Utd simply don’t have one. We can only judge Amorim properly next season. He’s doing a good job resolving all the first issues you talked about in my opinion. I watched 4 managers in a row pander to Rashford etc

Maybe, but the issue imo is with the club and not necessarily the manger. They end up just being a symptom of the cause. Just not sure signing Delap and Cunha solves your problems and helps you compete in two competitions myself.

Every season I think is rock bottom and then it gets worse!

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho questions Ruben Amorim's team selection after defeat by Tottenham in Europa League final.

Tbh hard to disagree. When you’ve been instrumental in getting the team to the final and you get dropped for Mason Mount who has barely done a thing all season it’s not great. After those comments if Amorim stays then he surely has to leave or vice versa.

Losing changes a lot. Think Man Utd should cash in on Garnacho on Bruno and a few others. Saudis willing to spend 70 mill on Bruno and he is 30 so it’s now or never to get paid good on him.
