If you're going into a season not knowing who your first choice goalie is you're in for a world of pain.

Think it’ll be hard to call Utd until they play a lesser team. They were mostly ok against the top teams last year too..

A lot of shiny new toys but I fear another season of goal scoring struggles is in store. Cunha looks a proper handful though.

It’s clear Ugarte is not good enough and has to go. New keeper imperative too. Hope Sesko has more to offer because that wasn’t impressive. Overall great performance outplayed Arsenal from start to finish

And it’s been one game and you already have another 100m list of signings you want…..

As Rooney said it’ll be at OT against the lesser teams when we will likely see a big improvement which is step number one in rising from 16th to the top 6 again!

It reads exactly like it should have been a draw, which I agree with. Arsenal looked pretty toothless and Utd played well in patches, but Utd played quite well against the Top 6 last year.

United have 3 players now who like to take shots - Cunha, Sesko and Fernandes,m. Ive no doubt they’ll score a few worldies throughout the season. But to have 22 shots and an xG of 1.59 is pretty worrying. Just shows all the chances were low quality.

Cunha looked class today which isn’t a surprise to me as I said in the thread last season when I heard he was going to OT I was gutted as I wanted Liverpool to buy him. That save by Raya from him was unreal!

Cunha has the full package I like his unpredictable personality too

Yeh he’s so strong, good at carrying the ball and can finish. He will score a lot of goals this season.

One thing about him is his mentality, he can lose the head and be wound up easily which could lead him to miss 6 games a season. Compare that to Salah who gets kicked every game and walks away smiling every time.

I like that he’s confrontational we have not had those players recently

I really don't think he would be in contention unless he had a majorly impressive season somewhere, but can't see it.

Also, it's looking increasingly likely Rasmus (and potentially Joshua Zirkzee) will be departing on loan somewhere in Europe;

You’d think if he had anything about him he’d be desperate to have a big season and get a World Cup place but he seems more about celebrity girlfriends, big wages and bling bling
