Would it be a the last thing on your mind or would you get it in a Heartbeat?

(I would’ve added the poll but I need to figure out how P)

Why this topic? It could be possible that the band could release another one with their 30th birthday. And they succesfully released 3 that got to #1.

For me it would be a no actually. I would rather have no material then a GH. Also, I’m wondering what it would do chartwise.

Your thoughts?

That’s the only version that would be ok for me. Thanks for adding the poll @Spice Boy

Unless they release at least 2 studio albums which would mean 6-8 further singles that could be added along with some new songs i would say no as a new greatest hits cant offer much unless they add 4-5 new songs. Another G H for the 30th anniversary would be a no for me, they can instead promote the platinum collection.

I would be open to a full on love greatest hits cd release though.

I wonder if they could release a double or triple album.

Disc 1: New Album

Disc 2 and maybe Disc 3: Greatest Hits

It’s a way of kind of doing both. Greatest Hits and new music.

There updated it with the poll for you 😁

I voted in the third option and I'd want to see another three albums at least before yet another GH.

I voted Yes but only after a few more albums.

It would have to be a minmum of 2 studio albums first though unless they release a live greatest hits

I don't think we really need another one for at least 15-20 years. However many albums are released between now and then is anybody's guess.

To be fair plenty of acts release multiple GHs, Abba for instance have more GHs than they do studio albums lol. They also released a new one after every 3 albums or so. With that in mind, I personally have no problem with Steps doing it every 3 or so albums over a decade.

If they release another greatest hits they would have to be more selective as if they did 2 or 3 more studio albums before a new hits package they would have to start dropping some of the songs as they wont all fit unless they did a 3cd release which may be of putting for the casual buyer due to price

To be fair, they could easily do a more slimlined 2CD release, the Platinum Collection does inlclude some "not really singles" choices etc.

The Runner, Baby don't dance, Love u more, Paradise lost, No more tears on the dancefloor, Happy, plus "Steps 25" versions of One for sorrow, Tragedy, Stomp and the Hard 2 forget remix... that's 10 available songs there....
