Hmmm find it hard to believe Newcastle would pay 70 mill for him but not give him a pay rise after great seasons. He looks like he wants out. Makes him look bad for me

Even though I know I disagree with a lot of people in this thread on footballing matters.. I think we can all take solodice that we're already bored of the Gyokores celebration and he's not even score

I think Mbeumo would be a good signing, him and Cunha could possibly bounce off each other a bit similar to Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke. After how last season turned out even the smallest of steps woul

There is still plenty of work to be done, and a clearout should be the priority, but it depends who is interested in approaching big waged Rashford, Sancho etc. I need Jean-Philippe Mateta to join U

He's a £150m player so will want to be paid as much. There is no way Newcastle will be able to affford what he wants without opening up their pay structure and falling out of PSR. If Isak gets it, new players want it as well as everyone else who wants their contract negotiating.

He clearly was very open to a move away, as there's no way Liverpool would not have enquired if they been given encouragement. Quite a few players seem to go to Saudi for 6-12 months then come back to European football. Few rumours going around again tonight that Liverpool will go back in for him, so we'll see.

I'd also imagine there's a heck of a lot of PR going on with all of this as well from all camps.

How has Ivan Toney faired since his move to Saudi? Any chance of him coming back to the prem one day?

Think it’s 18-24 months before there won’t be any tax paid on the money earned in Saudi if returning to the UK. So probably see next summer.

Don’t think his team won the league but him coming in helped Fermino and co and was top scorer. Also helped them win the ACL for the first time!

Sunderland are on the verge of striking an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of Granit Xhaka.

The two clubs are in advanced talks over a deal for the former Arsenal captain.

Leeds United have signed defensive midfielder Anton Stach from Hoffenheim.

The initial fee for the midfielder is £17.4m plus add-ons.

AC Milan are close to an agreement with Brighton over a deal to sign left-back Pervis Estupinan after further talks.

Will be interesting to see how he does. Whether he was just a big fish in a small pond or not

Do we think they play him as an out and out striker or as a strike partner for Havertz?

Out and out for sure. I’m not sure where Havertz really fits in at this point

Brentford are such a well run club like Brighton so don't see any way they get relegated. Their PE teacher coach will 100% get sacked though before someone more experienced comes in.
