Nunez is off and not fancied by Klopp. The Isak stuff has been rumbling for weeks, I was a sceptic weeks ago but I genuinely think it’s most likely on. At the moment it’s PR in the media. And as for Diaz, the issue Liverpool have at the moment is we don’t want too much change. We probably think we can rinse Bayern and we don’t need/want to sell as we’ll be pretty limited in attacking options.

Tuesday at 19:272 days Maybe the money is there and Isak wants it but it would be impossible for Newcastle to justify such a sale

Newcastle weren't spend £80m on Ekitike without selling Isak. Of course Newcastle don't want to sell, but with all of this story there will be a huge amount of PR involved. They could sell him this year, spend a load of money to reinvest in the squad and get out of their PSR troubles, or they can chance it and hold on to him. Who knows.

Who knows. From a fan point of view and as a club competing you cannot sell your best player and one of the few world class strikers to a rival. It would be signalling you’re not a big club. It would be demoralising for everybody at the club I just can’t see how they could justify it. Wilson left and he’s their only striker so they do need another and they’ve slashed big on Elanga so I don’t think they’re too worried about PSR and they have mega billionaire owners. So to me it looks like Liverpool have spoken to Isak’s agent and got a positive message and were trying to create a move rather than damage limitation PR from Newcastle but we shall see.

Ekitike is only going to come somewhere he will be first choice, he left PSG for that exact same reason. Saudi are back in the Nunez, Newcastle big for Ekitike and Liverpool make a play for Isak - none of those moves are coincidental. Newcastle also want Trafford for £40m, don't think they are spending £200m net this summer.I think whatever happens will happen fairly quickly, so we'll see within the next 7 days I reckon.
Tuesday at 21:382 days I’d love Isak but think 150m is too much! I wouldn’t sell Diaz as his athleticism is so important to our attack, would take an extra year of him then let him go to Barca!
12 hours ago12 hr Looks like Liverpool are going to sign Ekitike instead of Isak Don’t really know much about him but seems a lot of money
11 hours ago11 hr So instead of stealing their striker they've gone for their target instead. 80M for a striker who scores 1 in 3 on average is ridiculous.

Look at Nunez for example.Never seen him play, but apparently he is an Isak clone.
