'All Night' is out on 23rd June, with presumably an album announcement.

Certainly sounds like their funkiest single in quite some time.

Yes I Did sounds the most promising I think, the preview has their first guitar solo in god knows how long!

The singles are probably the weakest tracks, aside from 'All Night' which I really like.

Hope you enjoy it! It was a very pleasant surprise, and will probably put it on again later - which I haven't felt about a Maroon 5 album in ages.

I've given it a spin but can't say it did much for me - agree that 'Yes I Did' is the highlight though, I did like that one!

I’ve played it a couple of times but it’s not amazing. Is it better than the last two albums? Yes, but the bar was LOW. I think the songs are getting a little better but each chorus is weak af.

They just don’t know how to be what they were anymore. Even Middle Ground, their abandoned attempt to return to their old sound, was extremely boring and didn’t give me the Songs About Jane feels.

Their first 3 albums are excellent. The following 2 were pretty decent pop records. The next 2 were awful. This one is no more than average on a good day. I’ll listen more but I’m not sure it’ll make a difference.

I pretty much agree with everything T Boy said.

Chart wise is kinda hard to call for them, its an album i wouldnt be shocked to see debut at number 1 or number 60.

Their last album got to #19 and had a couple of hits, so I expect this one will be closer to #60 than the top.

A couple more listens and the album is growing on me. I still stand by what I said about it not touching those first five albums but it is generally a step up on the other two. It’s got a very summery feel and sounds good in the warm weather. Yes I Did is the standout for me so far.
