Many described it as a defining moment in Gaga's careers - but what other moments would you describe as being the moments that have shaped her eclectic career to date?Feel free to go way back into the archive of Gaga defining moments or go for more modern achievements.
June 17Jun 17 Author I am going to start with a very obvious one. One that cemented her place on the pop scene and the remarkable thing is that it happened so early into her career and really raised the bar of live performances and brought huge theatricality onto the main stage once more. It is of course THAT VMAs moment, which I don't think has ever been topped by anyone on this stage?
June 17Jun 17 That is the most obvious one and probably the most important.Chronologically, my pick would be the Telephone video. It was something that everyone had an opinion about back then even though it wasn't as popular as Bad Romance in Youtube views.
June 17Jun 17 Author The Telephone video was GIGANTIC for me. I showed it to any and every body that set foot in my house. It truly changed what I thought a music video could be in the way that I imagine Thriller did back in the day. It is easily my most watched music video because of the plays I gave it back in the day!
Sunday at 19:471 day Author THIS was a moment tooIt probably didn't come at a peak time in her career but it certainly reminded the world who she was and what made her so great. A phenomenal performance!
22 hours ago22 hr Sound of Music tribute at the Oscars!I think the timing of that really cemented her to take her career in a different way!Speaking of the Oscars too obviously Shallow winning the Oscar too and that performance too but I think the Sound of Music performance was what led to her successfully showing off her versatility and her vocals to a wider audience.

One day (not too far away) we can hopefully add Glastonbury headline slot to this and have her an even bigger show!

Outside of performances, this is quite CLEARLY a defining moment in Lady Gaga's career and is still referenced whenever people talk about Gaga to this date.I don't think there's been a more iconic red carpet outfit since, even still.
18 hours ago18 hr Author Definitely @ the Meat Dress. Proving her career extends beyond just the music!Also Shallow at the Oscars is another great pick. Not only was it a monumental musical moment but it was her time as an actress too and has obviously led to multiple big roles since. The performance still gives me goosebumps!
