Michelle mcmanus revival wasn't on my 2025 bingo card 😮

  • It is!

  • My neighbours are Portuguese and they rarely play English music but they were playing Daisies earlier so that’s how you know it’s going to be a big hit

Yeah and fairly poor for AW, Eternity aside. In fact less top 100 than Biebs and even Travis Scott after Day 1

Sheesh Eternity did crazy numbers on Spotify 416k

I think our definitions of crazy is very different.

Its a good debut though given how the other 2 songs did in the lead up to the album launch

1.6 mill US debut also his strongest ever UK debut and global 6 I do think NMF has a bigger impact than HHUK these days but still much more than I was expecting

I didn't really have high expectations for an Alex Warren album drop on Spotify so this is about in line with what I thought. Eternity has had a strong debut but its streaming is largely going to be coming from the existing hits as opposed to the whole album doing big numbers.

DAISIES almost 100k ahead of Dior, hopefully it can keep pulling ahead!

You said Crazy Numbers and were talking about the UK figure which you stated in your post as 416k

The US figure of irrelevant in the discussion, given we're in the UK streaming thread and you're now quoting that to move the goalposts. If you think 416k is crazy numbers, then great. You're mind should've been absolutely blown when other artists debut :D

Yeah I think its safe to assume DAISIES will take the top spot.

Especially as Dior will likely drop back after the weekend when it usually has a streaming spike.

416k is higher than Bieber did last week btw. It’s very good in this economy. Save your argumentative nonsense

Not many Alex songs in the Spotify top 50. It might be safe to say that Ordinary won’t get that reset

Yup 1 song new song is doing better.

Agreed anyone else its an underperformance, im seeing a theme here

So 4 songs top 50 and 7 top 200 for Alex doesn't exactly scream 20k streaming sales when it has 21 tracks, and album streams discredit the top 2

the advantage that he has is that his streaming numbers this week were never gonna depend on people streaming the new album

but on the fact that the album has already 7-8 songs doing well, especially on Amazon, so it's like a mini-greatest hits

these 7-8 songs are gonna stay there all week and not disappear on day 2 ala Travis Scott, Alexa will make sure of it

and it doesn't matter if the album tracks are outside the t200. it's like Oasis with Morning Glory(and they did 15K last week), with 5-7 strong stable tracks you don't need 16 songs in the top 200

Eternity doing wonders on TT in the past month so no surprises here, very surprised it debuted with 4.5M WW!

Not a lot of support on Spotify if any, apart from NMF.

No broke boys up to 7 on Apple where did that come from? Was 40 something a few days ago

A different dance song seems to do well each week on Apple - the Rossi/ Jazzy song took big climbs last week and managed to end up just outside the top 10, this week its dropped back a fair bit.

I'm guessing its playlisting. Saying that, its making gains on Spotify too - so maybe its just picking up/ clicking with more people
