It looks like the next yearbook according to the Facebook collectors page is 1972 with a light blue background. A bit pointless doing a 70s yearbook and a random 70s spin-off week by week but at least it’s early 70s for the next yearbook. We still haven’t got a yellow 70s yearbook but saying that, I reckon either 1970 or 1975 will be yellow

Could you also send artwork through?

Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

They ain’t done the artwork yet but when they teased it, it was on a light blue background. After this, I hope we get 1995 and 1975 back to back like we did with 1987 and 1977 and we need more 5s as 1985 is the only yearbook at the moment ending with a 5

My guess that 1975 will be yellow.

I was expecting 1972 to be purple as we haven’t had a purple 70s yearbook yet or a yellow one. I reckon 1970, 1971 or 1975 will be purple and 1970 or 1975 will be yellow. Can’t see 1971 being yellow as 1991 is yellow and we don’t have multiple yearbooks with same colour same ending digit

Opening with a Christmas song, well that's new.

Nice to see the UK Eurovision entry and winner on there together.

That’s what I said. They could’ve put Last Christmas on disc 1 or 2 of 1980-1984 seeing as George already had two tracks on 1984 and it was Freddie’s turn on extra 1984

What's frustrating for me is I cannot find the release date.

Apparently it’s 8th May according to one of the comments which I think is a bit late for a 2nd yearbook meaning that we’ll get extra 1972 on 19th June, 3rd yearbook 10th July extra 21st August, 4th yearbook 11th September extra 23rd October and 5th yearbook 13th November and extra of that more likely 8th January 2027

I just looked on Amazon, and you're right, it IS 8 May.

The number one singles missing from the 1972 yearbook are

T Rex - Telegram Sam

T Rex - Metal Guru

Donny Osmond - Puppy Love

David Cassidy - How Can I Be Sure

Lieutenant Pigeon - Mouldy Old Dough

Little Jimmy Osmond - Long Haired Lover From Liverpool

Take Me Back 'Ome by Slade is actually on this yearbook.

Didn’t realise we have both of Slade’s number ones are on there. Gudbuy T'Jane should appear on the extra edition. Also, (Is This The Way To) Amarillo is the first song to appear on both a millennium and a yearbook as it also appears on Now Millennium 2004-2005. Steal My Sunshine could be the second song to appear on both a millennium and a yearbook if it appears on one of the 1999 yearbooks as it also appears on Now Millennium 2000-2001

No sad losses for me apart from T Rex, gah, is this another lost license drama

I guess some of the naff ones will turn up on the Extra.

Hoping for 1975.

That could be the 4th yearbook we get after the next 90s as 1972 is gonna be the next yearbook to be released on 8th May

I hope Let’s Stay Together appears on extra 1972 seeing as it still appears on compilations and it isn’t on the main edition

I hope they go for a separate 1965 yearbook. Looking forward to 1972 yearbook - a pity that it does not feature any T Rex, but apart from that it is well compiled. Just odd that they start with a x-mas song - I would have put it at the end of Disc 1 after "Mary Had A Little Lamb". "Without You" would have been a decent start for Disc 1.
