Apparently, extra 1972 has been pushed back 2 weeks to 3rd July. If anything, it should’ve been brought forward, not pushed back. It was released late enough as it is. If they wanna fiddle with the release dates of their pointless spin-offs, fair enough but don’t fiddle with the release dates of the yearbooks, numbered series, 12" etc. They did this last year when 12" 1985 part 2 was pushed back a week

Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

What's gonna happen with Yearbook 1999, then?

It will have to stay where it is. There’s no room for other albums in July as we’re also due 12" 1987 part 1 and Now 124

Fair enough. It's due out four days before my birthday anyway.

Why was it delayed!?

They don’t say why they were delayed. You ask them and they don’t respond. Bad customer service. If you’re gonna ignore your customers, they’ll take their business elsewhere and they never fiddle with the release dates when it comes to their pointless spin-offs

I never suffered with an album delay since NOW 105 due to the pandemic!

We usually get the extra yearbook 6 weeks after the main edition. This means that we’ll get a Now every week from 26th June with either 24th or 31st July being an empty week. I hope 31st is the empty week with Now 124 being released on 24th seeing as it’s now like this

19th June - empty

26th June - 1999 yearbook

3rd July - extra 1972

10th July - yearbook 60s volume 3 1965-1966

17th July - ???12" 1987 part 1???

24th July - Now 124 or empty

31st July - Now 124 or empty

Standard: 8th May

EXTRA: (was) 19th June, (now) 3rd July

Another disgrace from the NOW team; delaying an album and not giving us an explanation!

They never delay their pointless spin-offs but they seem to do it when it’s one for the collectors. They did this last year when 12" 1985 part 2 got pushed back a week

This is how the releases between April and July should’ve been done

10th April - Now 123

17th April - 12" 1986 part 2

24th April - 1972 yearbook

8th May - Now 70s soul

15th May - vault 1985

29th May - Now soft rock & power pop anthems

5th June - extra 1972

12th June - 80s summer

26th June - 1999 yearbook

10th July - yearbook 60s volume 3 1965-1966

17th July - 12" 1987 part 1

24th July - Now 124

This is how they were done

10th April - 12" 1986 part 2

17th April - Now 123

24th April - Now 70s soul

8th May - 1972 yearbook

15th May - vault 1985

29th May - Now soft rock & power pop anthems

12th June - 80s summer

26th June - 1999 yearbook

3rd July - extra 1972

10th July - yearbook 60s volume 3 1965-1966

17th July - ???12" 1987 part 1???

24th July - Now 124 or empty

31st July - Now 124 or empty

I just left a 3-star review on the iTunes Store. Would've been a perfect 5 if they didn't delay it!

Your turn, @Hadji.

It’s bad enough when they fiddled with the tracklist for Now 100 hits forgotten 90s back in 2019

Yeah, I remembered that. We were expecting Utah Saints - Something Good, and instead got The Wiseguys - Ooh La La!

If anything, Rob 'N' Raz from 1989 should’ve been replaced and on the Now collectors page on Facebook, someone put that extra 1972 got pushed back because they didn’t want it released too close to the 1999 yearbook. If that’s the case, they should’ve pushed the 1999 yearbook back a week but still release extra 1999 on 7th August

What?! There's absolutely NOTHING WRONG releasing two yearbooks within two weeks!

Don't two versions actually exist, each with a couple of different tracks on it? I think they got as far as pressing and releasing it, and then quickly put out replacements. I would have preferred Doolally and Utah Saints but got Garbage and The Wiseguys. The latter edititon seems to be worth slightly more.

looks good and for sales chart tracks i'd add Westlife Your Love Amazes Me to it i'm sure that one will end up when we do get the reveal.

Rick Astley also possible. And Kylie's Light It Up.

Well, that never happened before. Or, did it?
