Not sure. If that’s the case, they’ll more likely do 1996 next as they only had one hit that year whereas they had multiple hits in 1994 and 1995. In my opinion, they’ll probably go either 1995 or 1996 next for the same reason they went with 1971; to even out both sides of the decade. I hope we get 1995 in October

I hope 1996 is next too, or either that or 95, sine we hadn't had a yearbook ending with a '5' since 2022.

Oasis were on 1997 and 1998 so should hopefully be good for 1994-1996.

Those were just before their tours started. The tours were probably the reason why Stand By Me didn’t appear on extra 1997. Probably the same reason why we didn’t get Acquiesce or Slide Away on Now 122 as they were new chart entries. If we get them, I hope we get them on the extras too or if they don’t wanna include them on the extras, then at least put 2 of their songs on the main. For their 1994-1996 hits, they had Supersonic, Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Whatever in 1994, Some Might Say, Roll With It and Wonderwall in 1995 and Don’t Look Back In Anger in 1996

They might have saved Stand By Me for one of the Final Chapter albums. It would be a shame if Now had lost the licensing for a while.

Someone commented on the Now Facebook page that they have a friend who works for EMI and told them that they don’t have plans to do final chapters and extras for the 70s but they are for the 90s. Bit odd. I was expecting it the other way round even though I prefer 90s to 70s

So Yearbook '71 and '70 might not get an EXTRA? Surely '75 will, though.

They meant the final chapters only. They’re saying that there won’t be a 1970-1974 and 1975-1979 plus their extras

My guess is that I don't think there were many hits in the 70s.

Or This Love by Maroon 5. Don’t understand why it appeared on the Hits when it was released by Interscope who normally licensed their tracks to Now in the 00s
