  • Agreed, it's hard to say whether it's a good score or not as so many of our batsmen went out to average balls or brain farts. Not sure the Aussies will make as many errors as we did, but our bowling i

  • I think this match will be over today before the lights come on. Australia's batting and bowling has been so much better than England's.

  • Oh Shit, we best not have this conversation lol. You most likely dislike mine as much as I dislike yours lol

England noe 97 for 9.

What an incredible Day 1, 19 wickets falling and still about 30mins of play left in the day.

England bowled out for 110! What a Day 1 it's been 20 wickets in total for 262 runs.

And it's not over yet, Australia will still need to come out and face 1 over from the England bowlers.

And that's stumps on Day 1 with Australia surviving the one over to be 4 for 0 at stumps.

Scott Boland opened with Travis Head with Bolland 4 not out at stumps and Head on 0.

How many days will this test last?

Australia bowled out for 132, a lead of 174 runs.

England need 175 runs for victory, Australia need 10 wickets. Either of which you'd think will happen before close of play today.

This is going to be over in less than 2 days with at least 35 wickets falling. This isn't bad cricket, this is an absolute disgraceful wicket, what were the grounds people thinking dishing up this piece of rubbish

Agree to a degree, the wicket was a disgrace but the batters could've played better too.

Still a test match shouldn't be over in 2 days. That's twice now this series.

Yep, the ACB are going to need to refund a lot of people. The public, broadcasters, corporate/hospitality.

Apparently they lost close to $3mil on the 2 day Perth test.

Yes, that was over far too quickly but good to see England win a test match in Australia for the first time in 15 years. Their bowlers certainly took advantage of the pitch they were provided with.

We came alive when the pressure was off, bottled it in 3 tests and when nothing to play for we finally came alive. Pleased for the win but how about doing it when it really counts as opposed to in the 2 exhibition matches.

The signs were there in Adelaide for England, it's just a shame Perth was such a disaster for them. Brisbane was a little better.

And with the 2025 Cricket Season over now just a quick thank you from me for putting up with me in this thread once The Ashes started.
