The Death of "Music Charts" started decades ago. Every new option on how to get the music you want is another nail in the music charts coffin. No one cares about the charts and the majority of people on the street would not know or care how long rein me in has been number 1 and most certainly dont know who OCC are. The charts are a very insignificant part of the music scene now and no amount of rule changes will make them relevant again

So what is it your saying? The chart Analysis forum is only about the number 1, not the whole top 100?

RMI will be number 1 tomorrow because thats what people are listening to, it's still in my top 5 that I listen too each day because like an awful lot of people, I really like it and personally I love what it is achieving stats wise. There is 100 songs in the chart to talk about each week and to denigrate a song because it has remained in a position for too long for your liking when there is 99 others to talk about that are moving up or down or stationary seems rather churlish.
