All the comparisons to miss Piggy have paid off. It'll also be produced by Seth Rogen, with a goal of celebrating the Muppets 50th anniversary and being big enough to warrant a revival

I thought this was a lot of fun. Sabrina was the perfect host for it, she matched their energy well, and her numbers were fantastic. I hope they did enough to greenlight a full series, cause theres a lot of guest stars i'd love to see in the show

I really enjoyed this they did a great job.

Agreed just got round to watching it its very good 🙌 sabrina is definitely well suited for something like this

This was nominated for a Television Critics Award, a good indication of how Emmys might treat Sabrina in the Outstanding Guest Actor race. She wasnt submitted by SNL, some see it as a snub but I wonder if it was intentionally done cause Muppets are going to submit her

Got nominated for an emmys, Sabrina Carpenter as a producer has her first emmy nom

Muppets win 4 of 5 awards they were up for tonight, including Outstanding Variety Special (pre-recorded) which means Sabrina is officially an emmy award winner. Halfway to an EGOT

I had a feeling it was going to take home that prize when it started winning other awards.

So happy for Sabrina. Oscars next then I wonder if she would chase the EGOT as she's been on Broadway before

I was tracking it this week and it felt strange how confident Deadline and Variety were that the Eras tour would win when Kalshi and Gold Derby had such strong lean towards the Muppets. And then the writing was on the wall when they won writing, it mean an entire block would be voting for them

She said once “I think that if [an EGOT] comes with the projects I put out with heart and passion, that'd be lit. No one's going to say that in 50 years. Can you imagine someone reading a Wikipedia quote from me: "I'd love to get an EGOT one day. That'd be lit."" So I think she has a decent chance of making a run some day
