October 11Oct 11 Musically it's a great song but anyone else finding the lyrics really generic and a bit cringe? He's given us such clever and witty lyricism in the past so I don't understand why anyone thought these lyrics would pass. It won't stop me listening to the song and looking forward to the album but c'mon Robbie sort it out!Oh and also the song doesn't sound very Britpop to me. Edited October 11Oct 11 by Mangø
October 11Oct 11 I also not exciting about lyrics. But after good Human lyrics here let's call it like some rest.
October 11Oct 11 The song live is not bad . Lyrics are indeed really basic given that Robbie is such a good lyricist but then I realise the song is about Ayda & then it makes sense ❤️I am finding something confusing about the mix of songs so far but am willing to wait to hear the album in full before I make a judgement.I loved Rocket & Human & in fairness Spies is actually quite a good song after listening to it a few times.A song I am l looking forward to is Comment Section, I really like that song Edited October 12Oct 12 by Sydney11

Credit: PressRobbie Williams has travelled back in time to perform on The Word for his new ‘Pretty Face’ video. The pop icon and former Take That singer has given us a blast from the past in his new video for ‘Pretty Face’, taken from his upcoming album ‘BRITPOP’. Though the album was set to drop in October, the record has now been pushed back to 2026.In the meantime, Williams has dropped the video for ‘Pretty Face’. In the video, he’s recreated performing on stage at The Word, the classic variety show that ran from 1990 to 1995.Dressed in his iconic red tracksuit top and bleached hair while attending Glastonbury 1995, Williams’ appropriately grainy footage sees a jumping crowd dancing along to his Britpop-inspired track.Speaking about the video, Williams said: “This is my “DeLorean Moment” back to 1995… The Word was the late-night gateway to so many – Nirvana, Oasis, Happy Mondays… If ‘BRITPOP’ is the album I would have made, then THIS would have been the TV show…. now a (virtual) reality”. Take a look at ‘Pretty Face’ below:Recently, Williams played his smallest-ever ticketed show in London. On October 9, Williams not only performed his debut album in full, he also played ‘BRITPOP’ in its entirety.During the intimate show, Williams confessed that ‘BRITPOP’ had been pushed back to avoid clashing with Taylor Swift. The pop juggernaut released her twelfth studio album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ a week before the show (October 3).Speaking to those in attendance, Williams quipped: “We’re all pretending it’s not about Taylor Swift, but it f***ing is. You can’t compete with that.” He continued to say he avoided the clash as he wanted to achieve a record-breaking 16th Number One album; Williams is currently tied with The Beatles for the most chart-topping records. “I was worried about making you all f***ing wait, and then I was like, ‘f*** it! I want a 16th Number One album!’”, he told the crowd.“I’m sorry, but I’m f***ing being selfish. How many times in your life do you get to have the most Number One albums the UK’s ever f***ing had?”Meanwhile, Williams has recently announced his ‘Long 90’s Tour’ dates in February 2026.The tour will see him perform at intimate venues in Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Wolverhampton, where he’ll play his debut album, ‘Life Thru A Lens’, as well as ‘BRITPOP’, in full.Fans who pre-order ‘BRITPOP’ from the Robbie Williams store here will receive early access to tickets for the new live dates. In this video, Williams’ look is straight out of ’95 — bleach-blond hair, Adidas track jacket, the whole nine yards — while energized fans dance around, the whole clip featuring stylized VHS screen blips that you’d see on an old video cassette in your VCR (if you remember those) :)
