I hope Heaven Is A Place On Earth can climb following the death of actress Diane Keaton who directed the video

I'm not sure people would stream a song just because its video was directed by someone who's just died!

I'm wondering if Lizzy McAlpine can make a belated impact with "Staying" soon. It's always been one of my favourites from her album last year and I noticed a while ago that it'd started shooting up on last fm with a TikTok trend.

It's been hovering around 400-500K streams a day on Spotify but I just did my daily check and it got over 900K yesterday, so unless that's a glitch or I got my numbers wrong, it must be pretty close to cracking some daily charts. Would love to see especially as it's only got 6 months to make it in Australia before the ARIA Charts kick it to the curb 😅

Can't believe that even with a Taylor Swift influx, we still have bloody 'Ordinary' at #9 here grrr

That song truly has poisoned the well this year. Thank god for ACR.

I'm still expecting it to be the 2026 equivalent of Beautiful Things too as no doubt he'll be doing the song at the Brits and/or Grammys drama

I want you to be very very wrong but im not a betting man but I bet your unfortunately very very right 😢

So who out of Olivia or Taylor will be no1 in the first week of Jan 2026, the big song at this time usually ends up back there after the Xmas rush for a week!

Edited by Steve201

Of the 2 id say Taylor Olivia could be on acr by early November and as our resident christmas ACR expert keeps telling us everything needs to go ACR before December to not be eligible for a reset in January

Wouldn't say just yet, Gracie didn't hit #1 for the first time until mid-November for example!

As things stand Man I Need needs 2 more declines before ACR, which doesn't put it in January reset territory as Jason said. Taylor's holding up well but I think it'd take some going for her to still have the top song in the first week of January, as much of November will still be pretty normal chart-wise despite the Christmas songs beginning to creep up (plus we have the rest of October too!).

lostprophets’ Last Train Home has entered the Spotify UK viral chart today.

Not the main chart, but I was wondering if some chart appearance would happen 😬

Grim, but I suppose not totally surprising after the whole d4vd thing.

I suppose one small comfort is at least he has no way of profiting from it now.

It’s been in the news quite a bit so I’d say a few will have checked what they did.

Crazy that Taylor still has 4 tracks top 10 at this point and would still be looking at a second week with 4 top 10s official without the 3 track rule

Spotify have released their Christmas exclusive covers for the year:

Fall Out Boy - It Feels Like Christmas

Jordan Davis - O Come All Ye Faithful

Poppy - Last Christmas

Ravyn Lenae - O Holy Night

Sofia Camara - Christmas Lights

Fall Out Boy is the “chosen one” out of these, and is the highest on Spotify’s main Christmas playlist.

Ravyn Lanae is a little lower, then followed by Jordan Davis.
