The Pretty Reckless has released a brand new version of "Where Are You Christmas?" from the 2000 Christmas movie "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". Taylor Momsen made her claim to fame in the movie, portraying Cindy Lou Who. It is a more rock version of the song. It is one of the five songs on the upcoming EP "Pretty Reckless Christmas", which is going to be released on 31st October.

Why are they releasing that on Halloween though.

It's perfect timing when you consider how Christmas songs start to increase on streaming the day after Halloween.

It just feels weird to release a holiday ep on another holiday like who is gonna listen to a Christmas ep on Halloween.

But if people do listen to Xmas songs that early then maybe it work out.

The new Xmas song playlists are curated on Spotify and apple at this point, so makes sense!

The lead single is pretty high up on Spotify’s main Christmas playlist, so I expect they’ll get their first charting single since 2014!

"Where Are You Christmas" is such a nostalgic song for 90s babies (especially ones born in the mid 90s like myself). I hope it does well in the charts.
