The Swedes robbed Effortless blind. Imagine having a song as good as that in your national final and letting it finish 9th (10th in the televote).

It was in one of the years I went to see the final, moment of the year live.

I do think she was a little weak as a performer so I’m hoping she’s built up some confidence & experience from her first go around because, as you say, Effortless was easily my keeper of MF 2024.

So, Sanna returning IS iconic.

But THIS DEBUT might have trumped my excitement for Sanna...

Oh my. If I was to end up getting tickets and any of A*Teens, Sanna or Jacqline were to miss the final I would be crying all the way home.

Still not over buying tickets for the final in 2017 purely to see Loreen (as it was surely a given she'd make it to Stockholm) and then she crashed out in Andra Chansen 🫠

And 2024 when I was excited to see Fröken Snusk performing her Swedish No.1 hit and...she didn't make the final. Still, sure she's on a sugar high these days.

Apparently AleXa who won the only American Song Contest with Wonderland is set to compete, kind of a gag!! This is an exciting lineup already with early whispers.

Wow, and didn't Cazzi Opeia co-write her winning song, so I wouldn't be surprised if she has a hand in this too as she usually writes something every year or participates?

Omg finally!!! Those both slay and I still love Hollow as much as the Singstar bar was severely malnourished with the notes she was not hitting at ALL in that botched performance x

I'm still theorising all these years later that Heartstrings was meant for Agnes but she didn't want to do it again and Janet got the song instead. It had the pimp slot in its semi but the performance and stage presence just wasn't really there.
