Posted December 16, 2025Dec 16 My Top 100 songs of 2025 are now fixed. Before revealing the songs I will tell you something about my point system. In each week a song can gain a maximum of 80 points and 40 songs get points in total. #40 receives 1 point and up to #21 each song receives 1 point more, so that #21 receives 20 points. From places 20 to 11 the gap increases to 2 point, so that #20 receives 22 points and #11 40 points. Chanhyuk is widely recognized for his imaginative songwriting, blending pop with folk, indie, and experimental influences. "Vivid LaLa Love" is from his second album Eros release in August 2025. I came across this song through the BJSC, where this song was the star for me. It only needed three weeks in my charts to gain a top 100 position and will still be hot in January 2026. After teasing the song on her Instagram, the song was released on October 24, 2025. The official music video to the song was released a day prior on October 23, 2025, via Ejae's YouTube channel. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and raised in Alabama. Jessie was one of the discoveries for me this year. Her album "Sex Hysteria" made it into the top 20 of the year. She has a very interesting andunique voice and sounds very adult for her age of 21 years. Since her breakthrough, NEA has released a series of introspective singles and EPs, establishing herself as a distinctive voice in modern Scandinavian pop. "Unaffected" is an interpretation of the German #1 hit "Durch den Monsun" released by Tokyo Hotel in 2005. Her voice gives a song a totally different direction into dreamy pop spheres. It was one of my favourites, so was quite disappointed about their final ranking. One more ESC-song to come later in my ranking. As it looks, there will be unfortunately no ESC for me next year.
