Madison Beer is an American singer and songwriter known for her powerful vocals and polished pop sound. She gained early attention in 2012 and later rose to fame with hits like “Selfish” and “Reckless.” Madison blends pop and R&B influences and is also recognized for her advocacy around mental health and self-confidence. "Bittersweet" is a great pop song. Hopefully, there will be a new album soon.

First line:

30 CMAT - Euro Country (361 points, peak @ #1)

This is the title song of one of the best albums of the year. CMAT delivered big time this year. One more to come from her later.

29 Alison Goldfrapp - Strange Things Happen (363 points, peak @ #2)

Alison still on fire. "Flux" made it into my Top 20 albums of the year. "Strange Things Happens" is a beautiful, dreamy synth-pop anthem.

First line:

cool to see Jorja Smith, Sombr, Purple Disco Machine, Tame Impala, MK make the top 50 here

I have two Spelling songs in my year end chart but Never ended up checking the whole album so don't know that one listed

28 Addison Rae - High Fashion (365 points, peak @ #1)

Great debut album from Addison with loads of hits. From the songs released by her this year, "High Fashion" is my favourite - great hyperpop.

First line:

"Have you ever dreamt of being seen?
Not by someone, more like in magazine
Wanting something more than just a hit
Nothing else can make me feel like this"

A lot I love so far! JADE has had a brilliant year so it's great to see her have multiple appearances.

But my absolute favourite so far is JUMP. An amazing comeback from BLACKPINK and I'm still obsessed with it.

27 Sofia Camara - Girls Like You (365 points, peak @ #6)

"Girls Like You" introduced me to Sofia and became a big hit for me. What a great pop singer - another one who should have a breakthrough soon.

It is a great album worth checking in whole. "Mount Analogue" stood out for me since the first listen. Thanks for commenting.

Really like seeing "Dream Maschine" (even though it is not as good as other PDM songs in recent time), "Back To Friends" (even if I prefer "12 To 12" more), "Bittersweet" and "Girls Like You" on your list.

26 Taylor Swift - The Fate Of Ophelia (382 points, peak @ #3)

"The Life Of A Showgirl" is a nice album with "The Fate Of Ophelia" as stand-out song.

25 Kali Uchis & Ravyn Lenae - Cry About It! (388 points, peak @ #2)

One of the R&B songs of the year. Kali and Ravyn harmonize perfectly in this brilliant duet.

24 King Princess - RIP KP (388 points, peak #3)

Overall, I found King Princess' third album quite average, but "RIP KP" is a brilliant song I loved from the first listen. The video of it is absolutely brilliant and my favourite music video of the year.

with whip creme and a perfect smile
My girl could destroy your life"

23 Sigrid - Fort Knox (401 points, peak @ #1)

"There's Always More That I Could Say" is one of my favourite albums of the year. "Fort Knox" is one of the lead songs from the albums. A perfect indie-pop anthem.

And that heartbeat in your chest
Then I don't know what you came here for
'Cause you touch like you want revenge"

22 Rosalia, Bjork & Yves Tumor – Berghain (401 points, peak @ #2)

From my album of the year comes this wonderful lead single. It was just released a bit too close to the year, otherwise it would have gained some more positions.

First line:

Seine Wut ist meine Wut
Seine Liebe ist meine Liebe
Sein Blut ist mein Blut"

21 Holly Humberstone - Die Happy (401 points, peak #1)

What a beautiful mystic song!!! This one is synth-pop at its best with Holly in top form.

First line:

"You said in a past life we were spiders
Or something neo-goth and grandiose
You asked if you could hold my hand forever and ever
You asked me if I still believed in ghosts"

Really like "The Fate Of Ophelia" (might be my second favourite from her new album), "Fort Knox" (prefering Jellyfish and Hush Baby, Hurry Slowly), "Berghain" (my favourite from LUX) and "Die Happy" (hoping this grows on me) from your recent selection!

She was born on February 9, 2004 in Sydney, Australia, and grew up with a passion for music encouraged by her mother’s piano lessons. She first gained attention by sharing vlogs, song covers, and original content on YouTube and TikTok, building a devoted following online. "Misunderstood" is a perfect alternative pop anthem. I used it for my first appearence in the BJSC, where it unfortunately did not qualify for the final.

19 Isabel LaRosa - Her Face (411 points, peak @ #1)

"Her Face" is synth-pop heaven. What a perfect production and Isabel's fits perfect into the atmosphere.
