Not playing an artist isn't the same as blacklisting. Capital have a target audience, and most (not all) rap songs don't tend to appeal to what they consider to be their listener base's tastes. Ella Langley surely falls into that bracket too, being a country musician. Capital almost entirely play pop and dance.

Hence why Audrey Hobert is back and Barry Can’t Swim is now on the main playlist despite not hitting the Top 40

just listening now. why is their edit of Ain't In LA so choppy? so confused why we need skip verse 2 and then go back to chorus 2 before the outro?

I’ve noticed sometimes Capital do shorten songs as a radio edit - as they did with the likes of Higher Love and Pink Pony Club and re-edit the songs by repeating certain sections such as Girls Like and Not Like Us
