'Flags' from Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten & Kae Tempest is out now:

Olivia sticks out like a bit of a sore thumb amongst those alternative artists but she has been proving her credentials with her live shows (and has made no secret of her love for bands like The Cure, even duetting with Robert Smith at Glasto) so fair play to them for including her on it!

Presumably they're all original songs aside from the two covers specifically mentioned?

The whole tracklist is out:

Yeah, seems like the only covers are from Fontaines/Olivia.

There was another Help (A Day in the Life) from War Child in 2005-6ish which I really enjoyed, some great songs on there from some of the acts of the time - Bloc Party, Manics, Hard-Fi, and a couple of high profile covers I remember (Kaisers - Heard It Through The Grapevine). Would look forward to this, a lot of good acts on there.

The 2nd single from the War Child Help (2) album. The full cast reads like a who’s who of indie music. Along with the three artists, "Flags" has Johnny Marr, Dave Okumu, Portishead's Adrian Utley, Gorillaz bassist Seye Adelekan, Ezra Collective's Femi Koleoso, and a 43-piece children's choir. It also has another choir, made up of Marr, Jarvis Cocker, the Libertines' Carl Barat, Declan McKenna, Marika Hackman, Let's Eat Grandma's Rosa Walton, English Teacher, Black Country, New Road, and Nadia Kadek! Great song too.

A song of this title has been recorded by Jeff Buckley and Elkie Brooks among others. Don't know whether this another version of the same song.

Beck’s confirmed it’s a cover on Instagram.

It's a good song. Elkie Brooks' version is wonderful, so I'm intrigued to hear what Beck and friends make of it.

Haven't heard the whole album yet but Olivia's track is great!

Yes it is!

It’s a cover version of a Magnetic Fields song from their brilliant album ‘69 Love Songs’, which is exactly ‘what it says on the tin’, 69 songs about love with loads of different genres.

One of my all time favourite albums!

I’ve ordered the CD as it’s a great cause and the Oasis track was recorded at the Wembley date I went to! Looking forward to listening.

Such a good album, glad I got the CD.

The Black Country, Depeche Mode, English Teacher, Beabadoobee and Anna Calvi songs are all so good on first listen and great to have that Oasis track at the end of the CD.

But the real diamond here for me is Olivia Rodrigo's cover. I can't believe her fanbase haven't gone wild for it, what a beauty.
