Despite beating Billy in the tiebreak, Jim's number is up and he ends up finishing in 20th place, just above Sam Owens who also drops out after Round 3. Have people subconsciously decided they don't like the character of Jim now because of David Harbour's real life infidelity and the turmoil it caused a certain Miss Lily Allen? Who knows, but alas despite it feeling like it's far too early for Jim to drop out of the race, he could be a frustrating character at times when you're rooting for others, but he was always longing to do better in the world and do better by Eleven after everything he'd gone through in the past with his daughter. Meanwhile with Sam Owens, a lot of people don't really recall much about his character (and who can blame them given it's been quite some time since he's appeared, for us); a high-up member of the US Department of Energy he was responsible for keeping a lot of what was happening with the Upside Down under wraps.

Voted Brenner this time round, served a great purpose in the show despite how unlikeable he obviously is, but definitely shouldn't be getting much further IMO.
