Death Of Me is my favourite song of the whole of January so far, and could lend itself to a very eye-catching performance, with its Gaga meets ABBA meets Rina kind of vibe. @Roba. sent her to BJSC about a decade ago, so it's nice to see her still releasing great pop.

The favourite currently though is Sissal, who Denmark sent last year with the great Hallucination, which sadly only got two points on the televote. Her new entry, Infinity is even more Loreen-esque, although a bit rinse and repeat really and it feels very soon to return.

I'm also finding the Late Runner song very charming and Denmark-esque and don't dislike any of the others.

Søren Torpegaard Lund's Før vi går hjem won, with Ericka Jane second and Sissal third.

Ericka is currently at the top of the infamous Spotify OBSESSED playlist, it's such a great track. I would say she was robbed but the live performance probably needed a bit more oomph, theatre and drama and not sure it would have got out of the bottom five at Eurovision.

Sissal's song imo is weaker than Hallucination but it is what it is...I'd have left it a bit longer to come back.

Decent winner and feels quite brave for a nation as safe as Denmark - first time in Danish since they failed to qualify in 2021! Was definitely rooting for Ericka myself but I agree with you that the performance wasn’t quite there as much as I’d have hoped for such a song.

Actually surprised Sissal only ended up 3rd given what a runaway favourite she was. I have ended up really enjoying Infinity in a Ella Henderson feature kinda way.

I think he might translate it to English which would be a mistake as it’s very charming in Danish imo.
