Posted April 9, 200619 yr In case anyone doesn't know ( which I doubt), Stephen also has a Blog/Diary Section on his own website. He seems to update it quite regularly. Might be interesting as the Rob Tour progresses. There is also a Photo Section You can find it at- http://www.thelilactime.com/ Edited April 9, 200619 yr by jupiter9
April 9, 200619 yr Thanks Jupiter. He seem to be a very quite person. I look forward to reading his blogs etc. btw - have you got my pm yet cause an error report kep coming up and i'm not sure if it sent. Edited April 9, 200619 yr by Scotty
April 9, 200619 yr SD's blogs are brilliant! They make me laugh :) (Obv I like Rob's blogs as well! )
April 9, 200619 yr Hulio gave me Stephen Duffy's Keep Going cd for Christmas and it's great. Not what I would normally listen to but there are some really lovely songs on there and I love his voice :) His blogs & photos are very random!
April 11, 200619 yr I love Stephen's blogs - they are so random :D Looking forward to some more Lilac Time too - but when will he ever get time to record an album of his own even if he has got enough songs for it <_<
April 12, 200619 yr I do like reading his blogs, I find him so off the wall, so to speak. Bless him, he owned up to making a mistake at the Durban concert and he sounds pretty chuffed about Intensive Care selling 6 million copies. I bet his life has turned around since working with Robbie. I am pleased for him. He shows a certain humanity and sensitivity that I like. I am sure he shows it to Robbie too. A lovely man. :D
April 12, 200619 yr I agree Jackie, he comes across as feeling so blessed to be working with Robbie and I really appreciate that.
April 14, 200619 yr Yes Stephen seems like a lovely man. This bit in the blog made me  "Much to my own surprise I only made one mistake - luckily it's really loud and obvious"
April 15, 200619 yr Author Very brief Blog update. They have arrived in Jo'Burg and have gone on safari. There is a photo in the Photo Section of someone's back (wearing a naughty T-Shirt). It is titled 'McStagger'. I'm wondering if it's a photo of Robbie as I know he used to sing under the alias 'Tipsy McStagger'? If it is Robbie the T-Shirt isn't very appropriate ( or at least I hope it isn't appropriate :o ) Stephen's photos are certainly ahem... 'Different'
April 16, 200619 yr dont you just love the way he describes his photos? very simply yet quirky.
April 20, 200619 yr Author Another short Blog update and a few new Dubai photos. They seem to be staying in a very tall hotel (bet its that 7 star mega-posh one  ). Wonder if Robbie's laptop has broken? No Blog from him....... :please:
April 21, 200619 yr Stephen Duffy made some decent music with the Lilac Time in the late 1980s/early 1990s and I'm pleased he had some songwriting success with Robbie. The 2003 Record Of The Year result is up. However, you might want to vote for Robbie's Radio (the first single of their collaboration) in Record Of The Year 2004. Click on link below
April 21, 200619 yr Well Stephen's fortunes have well and truly perked up, and I am pleased for him. I remember when the press sneered about 'Tin Tin' Duffy writing with Robbie. Well with 6 million copies of IC sold around the world, I think SD can stick a finger or two up and do it with pride. :)
April 23, 200619 yr Author Stephen has been blogging and snapping again. :cheer: Apparently their plane hit a weather balloon when flying back to London. Oh and lots of new photos (including one of the Dubai concert and a couple of plane engines  ) http://www.thelilactime.com/ Edited April 23, 200619 yr by jupiter9
April 23, 200619 yr Author Sounds like it Susie. Unless of course his Band were despatched home to London on a Russian Cargo Plane and the man himself is heading for LA on his private learjet.
April 24, 200619 yr I love Stephens blogs. I also love how he is completely against capital letters...he never uses them ....anywhere :D
