I would to as its probably their best way of getting a decent charting single and ideally do a kylie on it and go number 1.

For me:

• Skip this era in it’s current form.

• Doing an album with a lof of campy songs (a la Kylie). Starting the campaign with a festive and upbeat song called ‘X-mas heartbreak’. Release the album ‘Christmas queen’ mid november and do some promo for it.

Yes i would scrap it as it just missed the mark in every way and the years havnt been kind to it either.

Steps needed a Christmas album full of cheer and camp as thats what people want from them and its what people expected and sadly it didnt happen.

I know it wouldnt be our first choice but i still wouldnt rule out them trying another Christmas album or maybe they might be to scared after this did so badly for them.

I do think there is potential for them to get a Christmas album right and really go for the upbeat type of album with 2 ballads tops and yes, would definitely help their streaming.

I think so too. If they approach it the way Kylie did last Christmas there’s a potential top 40 hit and a silver album for them.

I hope they will but if they do..do it right!

It makes me wonder if we get an update about new material (or something) else? I’m in a need for new Steps material.

Im really hoping we get an update that at the worst news is they will be releasing new material next year or the good news thats its later this year.

I have a feeling a third solo Claire album will come before a new Steps album though.
