Bad Bunny’s ‘DtMF’ Touches Down at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 After Super Bowl Halftime Show

By Gary Trust | 2/17/2026

Bad Bunny’s “DtMF” hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the superstar’s second leader on the list, and first on his own. He previously reigned with “I Like It,” with Cardi B and J Balvin, for a week in July 2018.

“DtMF” blitzes 10-1 on the Hot 100 following Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show spotlight Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif., with “DtMF” the closing song in the set.

(Notably, Bad Bunny has performed both of his Hot 100 No. 1s at the midpoint of the NFL championship game: he guested on “I Like It” during Shakira’s Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020.)

The Spanish-language “DtMF,” which originally reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 in January 2025, heads up four Bad Bunny songs, all of which he performed at the Super Bowl, in the top 10, with two others likewise from his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos: “Baile Inolvidable,” which bounds 19-2 for a new high, and “Nuevayol,” up 28-5, also a new best. Plus, “Tití Me Preguntó,” from his 2022 LP Un Verano Sin Ti, reenters the chart at No. 7 (after hitting No. 5 that year).

“DtMF” — on the Rimas label, which leads the Hot 100 for the first time — drew 43 million official streams (up 85% week over week) and 5.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 56%) and sold 12,000 (up 262%) in the U.S. Feb. 6-12.

The single surges 4-1 for a third week atop the Streaming Songs chart, after it led for two weeks in January-February 2025, and bounds 11-2 for a new high on Digital Song Sales.

The streaming sum of 43 million for “DtMF” marks the highest for a song so far in 2026. It’s also the top weekly total for the song, which previously peaked with 34.9 million in its first week at No. 1 on Streaming Songs. Plus, it achieves the top streaming week for a song not primarily in English this decade, surpassing its prior best (which bested the 34.6 million tallied by Eslabón Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola” in May 2023).

“DtMF” is the fourth all- or mostly-Spanish-language Hot 100 No. 1, and the first by a soloist and no other billed acts, dating to the chart’s 1958 inception. Here are the elite such leaders:

“DtMF,” Bad Bunny, one week to date, Feb. 21, 2025

“Despacito,” Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber, 16 weeks, beginning May 17, 2017

“Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix),” Los Del Rio, 14 weeks, beginning Aug. 3, 1996

“La Bamba,” Los Lobos, three weeks, beginning Aug. 29, 1987

“DtMF” is the first Hot 100 No. 1 with any portion of its lyrics not in English since HUNTR/X’s “Golden, with sections in Korean among its mostly-English lyrics, led for eight weeks last August-October.

Some more X’s and O’s as “DtMF” barrels into the Hot 100’s end zone: It’s the second song in as many years to top the chart following a Super Bowl halftime show performance. On the Feb. 22, 2025, list, Kendrick Lamar scored a gain of 14 as “Not Like Us” rebounded 15-1 for a third week atop the tally. He also claimed half the top 10 that week.

Here’s a summary of the totals, and metric increases, for Bad Bunny’s four concurrent top 10s on the latest Hot 100:

“DtMF” (10-1): 43 million streams (up 85%) / 5.3 million in airplay audience (up 56%) / 12,000 sold (up 262%)

“Baile Inolvidable” (19-2): 28.8 million streams (up 141%) / 4.3 million in airplay audience (up 2%) / 4,000 sold (up 231%)

“Nuevayol” (28-5) 24.4 million streams (up 165%) / 3.1 million in airplay audience (up 19%) / 5,000 sold (up 238%)

“Tití Me Preguntó” (No. 7 reentry): 22.6 million streams (up 334%) / 1.8 million in airplay audience (up 71%) / 10,000 sold (up 734%)

Bad Bunny boasts four simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s for a second time, following his haul on the May 21, 2022, chart — when “Tití Me Preguntó” debuted — as Un Verano Sin Ti launched at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

“DtMF” holds for a 47th week at No. 1 on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart, where it’s one of Bad Bunny’s 17 leaders. Only “Despacito” (56 weeks) has dominated longer since the survey began in October 1986.

Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” dips to No. 3 from its No. 2 Hot 100 high, as it adds a third week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart (63.3 million, down 4%).

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” falls to No. 4 a week after it became her first Hot 100 No. 1. It tops the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart for a 12th frame.

Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” backtracks 3-6 on the Hot 100 after 10 weeks at No. 1 beginning last June.

Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” rebounds 11-8 on the Hot 100 after it debuted at its No. 2 high in October as parent album The Life of a Showgirl made its record-shattering entrance on the Billboard 200. The song is up 76% to 14.2 million streams following the Feb. 6 premiere of its official video; it also drew 50.5 million in radio reach (up 8%) and sold 7,000 downloads (up 300%).

HUNTR/X’s “Golden” drops 5-9 on the Hot 100 and Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might,” which spent its first two weeks on the Hot 100 at No. 1 in January, slides 4-10, as it leads the multimetric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs charts for a fifth week each.

I forgot to post my thoughts last week! Was really hoping for Olivia to get to #1 with her Grammys boost but having a female country #1 is a huge achievement for Ella, I still can hardly believe it!

Also it's gonna be very strange for 'The Great Divide' to be Noah's highest-charting song in the US since 'Stick Season' only peaked at #9.

13 out of 17 songs from 'DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS' charting over a year on from its release cheeseblock (Talk of the Charts didn't seem to anticipate Billboard allowing all of the ones charting below #50). Iconic that the streaming release of the full halftime show audio has charted in its own right on Bubbling Under as well!

Had a marathon listen of all the entries of the week last night (so mostly just the J. Cole and Bad Bunny show with an unwelcome interruption from that heinous Kid Rock thing) - I was already a fan of most of the charting Bad Bunny songs, I had thought 'WELTiTA' was one of the weaker songs on DTMF but it's finally clicked with me now, helped out by the music video (which I didn't know existed!) which is an absolute vibe. I also enjoyed both 'LA CANCIÓN' and 'Qué Pasaría...' much more than I remembered, they're still a cut below most of his own songs but not mad to see them back. Seems a bit odd that the former is still currently the most streamed Bad Bunny song on Spotify, hopefully 'DtMF' will overtake it in time. With the returns of 'DÁKITI', 'Tití Me Preguntó' and 'MONACO' Bad Bunny now has concurrently charting songs from each of his last 4 studio albums, can't imagine that has ever happened before unless I am forgetting something obvious? ('LA CANCIÓN' is from a Bad Bunny studio album as well albeit a collaborative one with J Balvin so it's 5 different album eras represented including that).

I enjoyed a lot more of the J. Cole songs than I expected to, I did already really like 'The Fall-Off Is Inevitable' and 'Two Six' which piqued my interest but then it died off again after hearing 'SAFETY' and 'Bunce Road Blues' from the UK chart, but turns out those are just 2 of the weaker songs from the album for me. There are a few duds on there ('Legacy' and 'Life Sentence' especially are both a bit naff) but plenty of other surprisingly compelling songs - 'Poor Thang', 'WHO TF IZ U', 'Drum N Bass', 'Old Dog', 'I Love Her Again' and 'Quik Stop' are all particular highlights (not in order).
