  • They'd best avoid sending another song with Glitter in the title given how badly that went the previous time.

  • Eigth song: Sarah Engels – „Fire“ This one sounds very cheep and dated. Garbage!!!

Show ongoing now.

First song: BELA – „Herz“

Really boring stuff. Candidate for last place hopefully.

Anyway listening only to the songs and not the parts inbetween - fill the gaps by listening to the BJSC final songs and I believe Gerd - Hurts is better than anything I will listen to this evening in ESC Germany.

Second song: Dreamboys The Band – „Jeanie“

This sounds better - but definitely not strong strong enough to be a contender. Radio friendly but quite forgetable. BJSC has much stronger songs in the repertoire.

Third song: MYLE – „A OK“

This is so far the best - sounds a bit like Alex Warren by numbers. I don't believe that will work at ESC, radio friendly but no extravaganza.

Fourth song: Ragazzki – „Ciao Ragazzki“

This is a novelty song using a disco vibe. Quite a bit enjoyable, but I guess to flat to be really a contender.

However, I believe that "John Riley" is way superior to anything I have heard from ESC Germany so far.

Unfortunately, Project Pitchfork is no candidate tonight for ESC Germany, eventhough their song on BJSC is a BOP.

Fifth song: Laura Nahr – „Wonderland“

This is a nice pop song, well-produced but her voice sound a bit flat. I believe she does not have the appeal to score high.

Sixth song: Malou Lovis – „When I’m With You“

This is a laid back pop song, does not sound to bad, but still ... the voice is a bit flat. Quite enjoyable on the radio but not for a song contest.

Seventh song: wavvyboi – „Black Glitter“

A Trans-artist, this is the glitter song - a pop-rock song and quite good. My favourite so far.

Ninth song: Molly Sue – „Optimist (Ha Ha Ha)“

The voice is good. This might work - a nice ballad - she has appeal. My favourite along with wavyboi.
