Posted January 23, 200718 yr When I first listened to it, I wasn't that keen on it tbh. Some of the songs were a bit forgetable and with the exception of Patience and Shine nothing on the album really stood out for me at all. Now though I don't find all the tracks as forgetable, I mean there are still a couple that I think are a bit rubbish but on the whole I thinkits a decenet album. ^_^
January 23, 200718 yr Dislike the album and I have really tried to like it. :( I just am not keen on albums where all the songs sound so similar and are mainly ballads. There needs to be more variaty imo. It sounds very alike Gary Barlows solo material which is odd as the other members have been invlolded alot more than the first time around :lol: Reach out, Shine and Patience are the only songs I really think tbh. Too many ballads for my liking. <_<

They all sound a bit samey and the only upbeat songs are Shine and Reach Out. :( I think they could have gone for a balance between the ballads and the more upbeat songs, but I guess they didn't. :(

January 24, 200718 yr I love it :heart: being a ballad lover and a romantic :wub: Gary could sing Jack and Jill and I would love it. :P Joking apart, I think it was a really good way to return. Don't the boys look well though, those 10 years has been kind!
January 24, 200718 yr Its a very good album. Its a more mature sound than their previous material and takes a few listens to grow on you.
January 24, 200718 yr There are only 11 tracks on this album and 2 upbeat songs are more than enough. I disagree it has 'too much' ballads. The only ballad is' I'd wait for life', the rest are midtempo ones.

January 24, 200718 yr I think the albums great......yeh some songs sound a bit the same and it maybe has too many ballads on but the quality of the album and the actual songs are great.....this is the first time they've all done an album together and after 10 yrs and coming back to produce something which has sold over a million in 4 weeks is amazing! The ones which stand out for me are patience, shine, reach out and i'd wait for life....... 8/10 :cheer:

January 24, 200718 yr Do they normally have 3 or 4 songs of an album as singles......i'm thinking they should just do 3 singles of this and then go on to produce there next album......... Anna.XXXXXX
January 24, 200718 yr with the album selling so so well they might just go with 3 singles but i would think they will judge it by the success of the third single
