“I try not to overthink songs,” Zara Larsson told Apple Music in 2019. Instead, the Swedish singer feels most on point when she’s able to “just feel it.” Larsson’s ability to convey that mix of youthful confidence and emotional intensity helped make her one of Europe’s biggest new music stars while she was still in her teens. Just an FYI on this one, but I think it was last week that it was certified Silver

I think it is worth mentioning some really interesting artists getting a top 100 UK hit single due to Gorillaz. I have been a fan of Kara Jackson and Anoushka Shankar for awhile now. Also good to see a posthumous hit for Dave Jolicoeur.

Over on the album charts, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Guts” dropped out of the top 40 for the first time since it’s release
