There has been an outbreak of the meningitis-B strain in the English county of Kent. So far there have been 15 confirmed cases (but it is so far believed to be 27 cases) with 2 people dying. It has been declared a national emergency. The outbreak is believed to have started at a nightclub in Canterbury.

I'm based just on the outskirts in South London so this hits really close to home, really quite shocking how quickly it's spread.

I live right in the centre of it all. Avoiding people for the foreseeable future.
