Tonight sees the final friendly in England before the World Cup which sees England taking on Japan for the first time since 2010.

How do you see this one going?

England have never been beaten by an Asian team. Japan 1-0 up at the moment.

Last game before the two in the US just before WC kicks off.

Brazil v Croatia, England's first WC opponents, live on ITV4 at 1am.

That team put out tonight was dreadful. Foden false 9 is absolutely laughable, guy can't even get in the City team. Same with White at Arsenal. Palmer has been mostly anonymous this season. Gordon is nowhere near international quality, the fact he's nailed on to start at the WC is a sorry thought. Anderson is also massively overrated.

But the main thing i noticed is not a single player wants to be playing a pointless friendly at this point of the domestic season. No one busting a gut to do anything...

It should be an honour to play for your country, completely toothless from England. Fair play Japan.

Very good performance from Japan. They really work.

First Asian side ever to beat England.

Uruguay and Japan didn't get the memo that these were friendlies lol.

Before Tuchel took over, England had not lost to an African team or an Asian team.

Since then. Those records have gone.

Japan were really good.

Not sure you can read too much in to the result though, missing Kane, Saka and Rice who all walk in to the team. But I do think it shows a big weakness is we are so easy to play against if we don't have a focal point.. and our back up focal points are pretty rubbish. Not really a fan of us playing a false 9, as Dobbo says, Foden is absolutely pish and should be nowhere near the plane. Also think we went too Arsenal that game, real lack of width from full backs.

I think Tuchel will have learned a lot though from this camp.

well done Japan clap
