I love Hollyoaks, have been watching it since the very first episode back in November 1995.

How long has everyone else been watching it?

only a few months for me- since the original actress who played Clare, Sam Rowley, was in it- because she used to go to my old school (we used to have geography together :lol: )

I watched the very first episode, and carried on watching it for a few years. But when the old gang started to leave I stopped watching it. Now I watch every so often depending on whether or not there's a storyline I like the look of.

I've been watching it on and off for about 7 years now :o

The show hasn't been the same since the twins died tho ... and i miss the whole lisa/lee/bombhead/cameron/abbie/zara/norman/steph friendship group it was great .. i miss jodi nash, debbie dean, mandy and izzy too.... holyloaks was great when they were all in it... not as good anymore now we are stuck with boring justin ... i do love lousie tho she is great

The same on and off. I remember the days of Jambo :lol: Hollyoaks is one of the few soaps I do watch nowadays though (along with Corrie most of the time and Eastenders occasionally)

Is it just me or has the acting been especially wooden recently? I thought I was watching a Wicks advert...

The only person in the show who I consider to have any acting abilities is James Sutton who plays John Paul. He's done such a good job on this Craig and John Paul storyline - made me feel really sorry for him!

She was sacked by Mersey TV (now Lime Pictures). She was offered the contract after her appearance on C5's 'Make Me A Supermodel', but when the producers wanted to include the character in the big storyling they thought she could'nt carry it off.

 

I think she did an interview in a paper on it sometime. Remember reading it.
