Chart Recap | Week 16

A brand-new #1 this week as Kygo & Carter Faith debut straight at the top with That’s When You Know. No buildup, no suspense - they knew, and now everyone else does too.🎉

Last week’s leader Niall Horan slips to #2 with Dinner Party, still hosting - just no longer in charge of the playlist.

Kygo, Khalid & Gryffin hold steady at #3, continuing their calm, efficient run, while the highest new entry lands at #4, where Ella Langley arrives with Be Her - direct, concise, and immediately effective.

Achille Lauro climbs to #5, moving a little closer to paradise, while NAIKA holds focus at #6 with one track mind. Walk Off the Earth drop to #7, still navigating heights, and Ditonellapiaga slips to #8, sounding no less irritated about it. At #9, Jack Savoretti continues being exactly what he always was - just gradually further down - while Thomas Hamilton rounds out the Top 10, still making his case without overcomplicating it.

Just outside, stability and subtle movement:

disiz feat. Kid Cudi remain at #11, still trying, methodically. Lainey Wilson holds at #12, continuing to advise patience. And Maybe’s Used To This falls to #13, now sounding slightly less comfortable with the situation.

A wave of new entries arrives mid-chart:

At #19, Holly Humberstone debuts with Beauty Pageant, understated but noticeable. At #22, Charlotte Cardin enters with The Way We Touch, keeping things elegantly minimal. And at #28, Peter Plate & Ulf Leo Sommer feat. Yasmina Hempel & Paul Csitkovics arrive with Das Schönste - taking the scenic route into the Top 30.

Further down, PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson appear at #32 with Stateside, arriving quietly but with clear intent. Lost Frequencies’ listen to me drops to #24, still audible, just less insistent. miki continues to slide at #25, the sting now more of a memory than a feeling. And Henry Moodie’s mood swings finally exits, bringing a long emotional arc to a close.

Flashback turns to 2025, when sombr’s Undressed led the chart — followed by Dove Cameron, Damiano David, Winona Oak and Chappell Roan.

"THAT'S WHEN YOU KNOW" is a really nice retro dance song - keeping the spirit of 2011 in a nice way. I think this style is currently bouncing back. Nice to see Charlotte Cardin entering and finally "Stateside" enters. It is strange that some songs really need a lot of time to finally land. I have the same this week with another song.

It is Conan Gray - Vodka Cranberry - currently my #1 and it is nearly one year old now.

I really like The Hives 'Enough Is Enough', I should really check out some other stuff from that album (I don't think I've heard anything else from them in about 15-20 years 🤣)

I was also surpised to hear The Hives with a quite a quality staff in 20 years😄But they got something unique... real bumblebees😅 (I wish I could get back Royal Republic's Weekend Man times, miss their bangers of 2016)😊
